Julianna's POV:
* A Year Later *
"Baby!", Jacob yelled, while coming downstairs from our bedroom. Why must he yell?
"Jake, I'm in the kitchen. Please stop yelling.", I said mumbling the last part, while holding my head in my hands.
"What's wrong? Gotta headache?", he asked, walking towards me.
"Yes. Serenity kept me up all night & I hardly got any sleep."
2 months ago, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Once we finally opened the envelope that revealed the baby's gender we started thinking about names. After arguing for 3 days straight, finally decided to ask someone who was probably more excited about the baby than we were which was Sophia. She was happy about having a baby sister so we decided the baby should have the same initials as her big sister. Her name is Serenity Camellia Johnson. She is like a mixture of Jacob & I. She's most definitely has my personality & she has Jake wrapped around her little finger at least 8 times. One pout could get her the entire world & more.
"Why didn't you wake me up? I would've taken care of her.", he said, rubbing my back softly.
"Jake, you & I both know that you are the hardest sleeper in the world. You can sleep through anything. Plus, I knew that you had practice so I didn't wanna wake you."
"That's true but I don't care. I want you to wake me up next time whether I'm sleeping or not.", he said, turning me around so I was facing him. I wrapped my arms around his torso & hid my face in his chest.
"Seems like every time I put her down, she woke back up. I told you to stop holding her so much, now it's biting us in the ass.", I mumbled in his hard chest. He laughed & I started to felt vibrations come from his chest.
"That's my baby girl. I can't help but to hold her.", he said kissing her forehead.
"If you continue this then I can't help but to put you in a choke hold.", I said, mocking him with smile on my face.
"Whatever. Are the kids up?", he asked, pushing a strand of hair behind me ear.
"I woke them up almost 10 minutes ago. I bet Sophia is picking out her outfits while the boys are still sleepy.", I smiled just thinking about my kids.
"Yesterday, I found Shane asleep on the toilet & Kane on the floor with one shoe on.", he said, which made me laugh.
"They are so much like you that it's ridiculous."
"I know. Mama told me the same thing yesterday.", he said kissing my lips.
"What time is it?", I asked.
"7:21. What time do you have to get the kids to school?", he asked.
"By 8. Breakfast should take about 15-20 minutes then I'll drop them off at like 7:50 & I'll be home with Serenity & we'll take a nice nap until you or the kids come home.", I told him.
"Alright. Go start breakfast while I get the kids."
Since we've started our family, we had a discussion about how our kids should eat. I think it's a good way to have them start out with a healthy life so it will lessen their chance of developing any complications at a young age. In the morning, they can have anything from waffles to french toast to pancakes or whatever recipe I find. For lunch they'll have a nutritious meal, whether they are at home or at school. Dinner is kind of like supper because I try to have dessert every once in a while but every night there will be some type of vegetable.
