Chapter Forty-Two

Julianna's POV:

 It's been 4 months since Jacob & I broke up. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss him. I think he's happier than me. He comes in at crazy hours either drunk or high. I think he should stop but my opinion means shit to him & I'm not his girlfriend anymore so why does it matter.

We don't talk not even when it's about Sophia. We just walk past each other like we're strangers. He sleeps in the guest room. He has a new 'girlfriend'. Her name is Sarah. He started dating her like a month after we broke up. She is so fucking annoying &always begging him to take her shopping. Sophia hates her guts!

I think he moved on faster then I thought. Am I jealous? Yes, I am but I shouldn't be because I'm the one who suggested it.

Peyton keeps trying to hook me up with guys but I don't do blind dates. Tonight I finally let her talk me into going on a date with some guy. All I know is that Ayden knows him & that he works with Joshua. Oh, I forgot to mention that Joshua & Peyton are dating! They met when the I hurt myself in the dance studio. Joshua picked up my phone after I dropped it & that's how he met Peyton.

So I won't be alone, Peyton will be joining us & she invited Ayden & Olivia. Olivia is 4 months pregnant. Her & Ayden are still together. & yes,we still aren't talking.

"Julie, you look fine!", Peyton assured me.

"But this dress makes my butt look huge!", I whined. (Dress in External Link)

"That's the point.", she winked at me.

"Are you sure this isn't too much?", I asked, looking in the mirror.

"Like I said before you look perfect now come on. Joshua, Olivia & Ayden are waiting for you at the restaurant.", she said pulling me out of the room.

"Wait! I forgot my phone.", I stopped.

"Hurry up. I'll be out in the car.", she said walking downstairs.

I grabbed my phone & walked out my room. I walked downstairs & into the living room where I saw Jacob & Sophia watching TV. Sarah was in the kitchen. Sophia heard my shoes on the floor & turned around & she had a huge smile on her face.

"Mommy, you look beautiful!", she smiled.

"Thank you boo.", I said, picking her up. Jacob turned around & his eyes got big then he licked his lips.

"Where you going?", he asked. I looked behind me to see who he talking to.

"Who you talking to?", I asked.

"You.", he said.

"Out.", I said quickly. Sarah came out of the kitchen with a sandwich.

"You look nice.",Sarah said giving me a fake smile before sitting next to Jacob.

"Thanks.", I said.

"Where's my sandwich?", Jacob asked.

"In the kitchen, unmade.", she said before biting into the sandwich.

"Why didn't you make me one?", he asked.

"Do I look like a maid? You got two feet make your own.", she said.

"A maid cleans a house. They don't make sammiches. A servant or a butler make sammiches.", Sophia said rudely.

"Sophia.", I said in a warning tone.

"Sorry.", Sophia mumbled.

"Well, while Mommy's out you're going to be staying with Daddy & Sarah.", I told Sophia.
