Chapter Twenty-Seven

Julianna's POV:

I was woken up by kisses on my neck & hearing "I love you" repeatedly.

"Jake stopppp.", I whined.

"I'm sorry.", he whispered in my ear.

"It's okay. It just tickles.", I said.

"No, I'm sorry about last night.  I didn't mean it, baby. I swear.", he said apologizing again.

"Jake, it's okay. I know you didn't mean, okay?", I said turning around to face him.

"Okay.", he mumbled against my lips. I grabbed his face to kiss him but he flinched. I pulled away & looked at his face. He had a huge bruise on it.

"Oh my goodness. Babe, you have a huge bruise on your cheek. What happened?", I asked caressing his face a little.

"My mama kinda slapped me after I told her about our argument.", he said quietly.

"I'm so sorry, baby. Does it hurt?", I asked. He stuck his bottom lip out.

"Yes.", he said pouting. I kissed him all over his face softly.

"Does it hurt anywhere else?", I asked.

"It hurts here.", he said pointing to his lips. I kissed his lips softly & pulled away & looked back at him.

"Did she hit you in your mouth?", I asked.

"No, I just wanted a kiss.", he smiled showing his dimple.

"You're so weird.", I said.

"Let's get up. I wanna make it up to you guys by taking you shopping, dinner then a movie.", he said.

"Shit. Babe, I can't.", I said.

"Why not?", he whined.

"I would love to but today is girl's day. Livie promised Sophia that all the girls will have a dress-up party. How about tomorrow?", I said trying to make him happy.

"Fine.", he mumbled.

"Stop it.", I said grabbing his face & kissing his lips.

I heard a faint knock on the door which means it's Sophia.

"Mommy, are you awake?", she asked.

"Yes, sweetie. Come in.", I said, sitting up.

She came in with one of her teddy bears.

"Good morning Mommy.", she said, coming to my side of the bed. I picked her up & kissed her lips.

"Good morning baby girl.", I said.

"Daddy doesn't get a kiss.", Jacob said pouting with his arms crossed, pretending to be mad. She climbed over to him & kissed his pouted lips.

"I sowwy, Daddy. Don't be sad.", Sophia said giving him a hug.

"I'm not sad. Now let's go brush your teeth & wash your face so we can eat pancakes & bacon.", he said standing up & putting Sophia on his back.

"Yay! Pancakes & bacon!", She yelled.

Jacob POV:

This sucks! I'm home alone. My dad & Julie's dad left to go on a business trip & Ayden is working. Just my luck, I'm home by my damn self watching fucking golf.

"Babe, we're home!", Julianna whisper-yelled, closing the front door. I went downstairs & saw her holding a sleeping Sophia.

"I'll give her a bath & put on her PJ's. You go take a shower, I already took mine.", I said grabbing Sophia from her. She walked upstairs & I followed her but I went into Sophia's room to grab her PJ's, then I went into the bathroom.

"Baby girl, wake up.", I said shaking Sophia, lightly. She shook her head no.

"No, I sweepy.", she mumbled.

"You have to wake up so you can take your bath.", I said rubbing her bath, softly.

"No, I wanna sweep. Why do you hate me?", she whined, dramatically.

"Princess, I don't hate you. I love you. Don't you wanna smell like strawberries when you to sleep?", I asked her.

"Yes.", she mumbled with her eyes still closed.

"Well wake up so you can take your bath & go right back to sleep.", I said hoping she'll wake up & she did. "That's Daddy's Princess.", I smiled giving her a kiss on her cheek.

Julianna's POV:

I climbed on the bed & laid down. Then Jacob came in & laid on top of me.

"Jacob, move your heavy!", I said laughing.

"But I missed you guys today. I was home all alone with no one to give me kisses.", he mumbled against my lips.

"Aw. We missed you too.", I said kissing his lips softly. I pulled away & Jacob rolled off of me. We just stared at each other then I heard a small voice.

"Mommy? Daddy?", Sophia said, standing at the door holding her teddy bear.

"Yes, Princess?", Jacob said, sitting up.

"Can I sweep with you guys tonight?", she asked with tears running down her face.

"Yes, Princess. What's wrong? Did you have a bad dream?", Jacob asked picking her up. She nodded her head & sniffled. "What happened in your dream?", he asked.

"My mean Mommy yelled at me calling worfless (worthless) & a cry baby.", she sobbed.

Jacob sat on the bed & she laid her head on his chest.

"Baby girl, you're not worthless. You mean the world to us.", I said rubbing her back.

"Yeah. I love you. Mommy loves you. Uncle Ayden loves you. Auntie Olivia loves you. Grammy loves you. Poppop loves you. Nana loves you. Poppa loves you. Your not worthless, okay?", Jacob said wiping her tears then kissing her cheek.

"I wuv you, Mommy & Daddy.", she said with her eyelids falling. 

"I love you, too.", Julianna & I said in unison. Just in a blink of an eye, her little small little figure as asleep on Jacob's chest.

"We're gonna get through this help & Sophie, okay?", Jacob said looking at me.

"Okay.", I said cuddling up next to him.

"I love you.", he said lifting up my chin so I was looking him directly in his eyes.

"I love you too.", I said kissing his lips.
