Julianna's POV:
I woke up & saw Sophia laying on my chest playing with my fingers.
"Hey Princess.", I said kissing her forehead.
"Good morning Mommy. We brought you breakfast.", she said pointing to the food in a chair.
"Where did Auntie Peyton go?", I asked.
"To go to the potty.", she said pointing to the bathroom.
After finishing my breakfast, Peyton still hasn't come out the bathroom.
"Peyton, are you okay?", I asked, knocking on the door.
"Yeah. I-I'm fine.", she sniffled.
Why is she crying??
"Open the door. I'm coming in.", I demanded.
She unlocked the door & saw her red face & swollen eyes.
"Why are you crying?", I asked pulling her into a hug.
"B-B-Because I might be pregnant.", she cried.
"Shh. It's okay.", I said rubbing her back.
"No it's not. He told me he didn't want kids earlier in our relationship & then this happens.", she snapped.
"It takes two! He just as responsible as you are. If he's not man enough to take care of what he helped make then to hell with him. I'll be ya' baby daddy.", I said, which made her laugh.
"Thanks Julie.", she said wiping her tears.
"You're welcome.", I said kissing her cheek before walking out the bathroom.
I looked in the room for Julianna & saw her sitting on the edge of Jacob's hospital bed touching his face.
"Mommy, is Daddy gonna be okay?", she asked me.
"Come here, sweetie. Mommy has to talk to you.", I said patting my lap.
She climbed off the bed & walked over to me & I put her on my lap.
"Sophia, Daddy got hurt & he's gonna be okay. But he's taking a long nap & we have to wait until he wakes up. It might take a while but we just have to wait & be patient, okay?", I said.
She nodded her head & looked down.
"I miss my Daddy.", she said sadly.
I cradled her in my arms as she snuggled against me.
"I miss him too.", I said kissing her forehead.
Jacob's POV:
I miss both you so much.
It's like I can hear them but my body won't allow me to wake up or respond.
*3 weeks later*
"Mommy, I'm bored.", Sophia whined.
Right now, I'm filling out paperwork for Jacob. Half of this stuff, I don't even know what it is.
"Hold on. I got an idea.", I said.
I got my phone out & called one person I knew would help.
"Hello? Ms. Georgia, do you happen to have AJ with you?", I asked.
"Yes, I do. He just got here while Andrew went to work.", she said.
"Would you mind if I borrowed him for today?", I asked.
"No sweetheart. I wouldn't mind at all. Where are you?", she asked.
"I'm at the hospital in uptown.", I said.
"Alright. We'll be there soon.", she said, before hanging up.
*****************************************
I swear sometimes these two can't get enough of each other.
AJ has been here for a few hours & they're still aren't tired.
I gave them lunch, now they're watching TV.
I heard a knock at the door but no one came in.
"Come in.", I said.
The door opened & Andrew walked in.
"My mom told me I could pick Andrew up from here.", he said nervously.
"AJ, your Daddy is here to pick you up.", I said.
He looked up at the door & saw Andrew & a frown appeared on his face.
"I not ready to leave.", he said sadly.
"We gotta go buddy.", Andrew said.
AJ gave Sophia a hug & walked over to me.
"Bye Ms. Julie.", he said quietly.
"Don't be so sad babes.", I said picking him up.
"I don't wanna leave.", he cried.
I looked at Andrew who looked just as sad as AJ.
"Julianna, can I talk to you for a second?", he asked.
I nodded my head & followed him out the door.
"Soo, how've y'all been?", he asked.
"We're good. Could be better but I'm not complaining. How about you & AJ?", I asked.
"He hasn't been the same since y'all left. It's like he doesn't want to spend time with me anymore. & if we do, he doesn't talk to me.", he said sadly.
"Take a few days off from work & do what he wants.", I said.
"I'll do that. Do y'all want to spend time with us?", he asked.
"I don't know, Andrew.", I said.
"I just want to make things right between us.", he said.
"There is nothing to make right. I'm with Jacob now & I'm not gonna leave or cheat.", I said.
"Well then can we be friends? Nothing more.", he said.
"Okay. Just friends.", I agreed which made him smile.
There is nothing wrong with being just friends, right?
