Chapter Twenty

Julianna's POV:

It's been 2 months. Everything is great if you count Jacob never being here a amazing thing. After his classes are over he just leaves. I haven't had any quality time with him in a long time. There is only one thing that can come to my mind right now.

He's cheating.

I don't want to think that but that's the first thing that comes to my mind. Since he leaves me home alone, I decided to find me a job. I work at a dance studio which across town. When I don't have to teach I just dance to relieve some stress. I teach from the ages of 9-13. They are great kids & they are really talented.

I didn't have class today but I did have to work but it's only 11 & I have to work at 1 so I decided that I'm going to leave a little early so I can dance & relieve a little stress. I grab for my stuff & I head for the door until I feel someone grab my hand stopping me. I turn around to see that it is Jacob.

"Where you going?", he asked.

"Out.", I said rolling my eyes.

"Out where?"

"Why does it matter? It's not like your ever home or even have time to talk to me so why do you care?", I said turning my face away from him.

"Julie-", he started but I cut him off.

"Are you cheating on me?"

"What?! why-", he started but I cut him off again.

"You could've just left & broke things off instead of cheating. It really isn't-", I started but then he cut me off by kissing me. He pulled me closer by my waist & I wrapped my arms around his neck. We were making out for a few minutes & he pulled away leaving me breathless.

"You talk to much. Like I was saying before, no I'm not cheating on you. That would be fucking impossible. Why choose a rock when I have a beautiful diamond? Why want a commoner when I have a princess? I know I haven't been around lately but I've been working. I'll make it up to you I promise. I love you & I want you. No one else. Okay?", he said holding my face in his hands so I was looking him directly in his eyes.

"Okay. But why didn't you tell me you got a job?"

"I guess it just slipped my mind. But where are you going for real?"

"To work."

"You gotta job when? Why didn't you tell me?"

"I guess it just slipped my mind.", I said mocking his words. He laughed & went to sit on the couch & watch TV. I sat next to him.

"Why are you working? You know I can support for the both of us.", he said looking at me then back at the TV.

"Because when you leave, I'm all alone. I have nothing to do & no one to talk to.", I said looking down, playing with my fingers.

"Come here.", he said pulling me on his lap & I turned my face away from him because I can feel my eyes fill with tears & I didn't want him to see me cry. "Julianna, look at me." I shook my head no. I felt him place his finger under my chin, turning my head towards him. "Baby don't cry. The last thing I ever wanted to do was hurt your feelings."

"But you did.", I mumbled.

"Babe I'm sorry. I just, I don't know. I guess I'm leaving without thinking to tell you where I'm going & what time I'll be back. I'm sorry, okay? It won't happen again. I'll let you know next time. Please stop crying.", he said wiping my tears from my cheeks.

"Okay but DON'T let it happen again or I will be kicking your ass.", I said which made him laugh but he could tell I was serious.

He placed his forehead against mine so we were looking at each other.
