Chapter Fifty-Seven

Julianna's POV:

Silence filled the waiting room as we waited to hear something from the doctor.

Everybody was here. Even Mama J. She didn't say much, she just cried & told me she felt bad because she just got into an argument with Jake before the accident.

Peyton was asleep in Josh. She said she felt bad too because she always held a grudge against him for so long.

Even though Sophia seemed fine, I had her check out just in case. But she's okay. She was sleepy but started to fight it. Now she fast asleep on my chest.

"Family of Jacob Johnson?", a doctor said coming from the back.

"Here.", Papa J said standing up.

"Well I'm glad he got here as soon as possible or things could've gotten much worse. He has a concussion, his ribs are bruised, a fractured wrist & a few cuts. With the damage done to his head, we put him in a medically induced coma. He should wake in a few days, weeks or months. But he will be fine.", the doctor said.

"Thank you. Can we see him?", Mama J asked.

"Yes. 2 at a time please.", the doctor said.

After everyone went Sophia & I were the last ones but she was asleep.

"Do you want me to take her?", Peyton asked.

"Yeah. & can you bring her back tomorrow when she's awake so she can see him?", I asked.

"Yeah. I'll bring her.", she said.

"Thank you.", I said hugging her & kissing Sophia's cheek.

After everyone left, I finally went to Jacob's room.

He's so bruised & hurt. He has all kind of things hooked up to him.

I sat in the chair next to him & grabbed his hand.

"Jacob, baby you scared me today. I thought you left us. When Sophia told me what happened, a piece of me died instantly. We need you to fight this & wake up. Until you do I'll be staying here with you. Tomorrow I'll call your agent & tell him what happened. I love you so much.", I said.

I looked up & saw him laying there with his eyes still closed. I wish he could say it back.

I laid on the couch & feel asleep as soon as my eyes closed.
