Chapter Twenty-Eight

Jacob's POV:

"Come on, Julie!", I yelled from downstairs.

"I'm coming Jake! Stop rushing me!", she yelled back. I sighed & rubbed my face. I looked down at Sophia as she held my hand.

"Why do women take so long to get ready, Princess.", I asked, picking her up & putting her on my back.

"Beauty takes time, Daddy.", she said. I laughed & shook my head at her response.

Damn, my baby girl is smart.

Julianna's POV:

"& what would you like to eat, sweetie?", the waitress asked Sophia.

"Can I have chicken nuggets with fwench fwies, pwease?", Sophia asked nicely.

"Awe. Your so adorable! Your daughter is so precious.", waitress said smiling at Jacob & I.

"Thank you.", Jacob & I said in unison.

"No problem. I'll be back in a second with your food.", the waitress said walking away.

"So Sophia how do you like staying with us?", Jacob asked.

"I wuv it! I wuv my room, my toys, Gwammy, Nana, Poppa, Poppop, Uncle Aywen, Auntie Owivia, & Auntie Peyton. I wuv you guys too.", she said smiling big.

"I'm glad you love staying with us because we love you staying with us.", I said.

After dinner we went to the movie theater.

"Okay, Soph. What movie do you wanna watch?", I asked.

"Umm.", she said tapping her chin with her finger with her thinking face on. "I wanna see Planes!", she said smiling.

"Planes it is.", Jacob said going to buy the tickets.

Jacob's POV:

"Sophia, do you wanna stay after a little later after work?", Julianna asked.

"Yes ma'am. I rweady to start dancing again.", she said bouncing up & down.

"Well, come on let's so take a bath so you can have enough energy to dance tomorrow.", Julianna said standing up.

"No, I not sweepy.", she said running her eyes. Yep, she's sleepy.

"If you don't go to sleep then you can't dance.", I said.

"Okay. Will you read me a bed time story?", she said looking at Julie & I.

"Sure thing, Princess.", I said kissing her cheek as Julie took her upstairs.

I went in the room & started watching TV. About 35 minutes later, I heard a knock on the door.

"Daddy, I rweady for my bed time story.", Sophia said holding her teddy bear.

"Okay, I'm coming.", I said getting out the bed.

I picked her up & threw her in the air, catching her which made her laugh. I started kissing her all over her face which made her laugh harder. Her laugh made a smile appear on my face.

"You ready for your bedtime story?", I asked tucking her in.

"Yes.", she said cuddling up close to her teddy bear.

"Once upon a time there was a Prince & a Princess. Their names are John & Ashley. They always played & ate ice cream together. Ashley was beautiful, smart, nice, loving, caring. John can't live without her by his side, without her, he is nothing. He loves her very much. One day they had a knock on their castle door. When they opened the door, there was a small beautiful baby girl. They looked around & couldn't find who put her there. They named her Sarah. Sarah was the most precious thing in the whole world. After they brought the new baby in the castle they lived happily ever after.", I said finishing up my story.

I looked at the bed & saw Sophia fast asleep. I kissed her cheek & turned off her light & turned on her Princess & the frog night light.

I went in the room & saw Julianna on the bed texting so I went & sat next to her.

"Is she asleep, Prince John?", she asked with smirk.

"Oh you heard that?", I asked laughing nervously.

"Yes & I love you too.", she said leaning in to kiss my lips. I pecked her lips & went to the bathroom to take my shower.

I came out the shower in like 45 minutes  saw Julie biting her finger nails. Its a bad habit she does when she's thinking about something.

"What you thinking about?", I asked sitting next to her.

"Nothing.", she said quickly.

I sighed  pulled her on my lap.

"What you thinking about?", I repeated.

"What if this is too much? What if the child services lady won't give up a great report on how we're supervising Sophia?", she said with tears ready to fall. Her chest was heaving up & down, breathing really heavy.

"Babe, calm down.", I said soothingly, rubbing her back.

"What if her nightmares get worse? What if we're horrible parents?", she sobbed into my chest.

"Baby, stop. I told you last night, we're going to get through this & we're gonna help her get rid of those terrible nightmares. Yeah, it's gonna be tough & hard to get used to but everything will be fine. You're an amazing mom because your amazing. Stop thinking negative. Thinking negative only ends with negative results.", I said wiping her tears away.

"Okay.", she said quietly.

"Now let me see that sexy smile.", I said with a smirk.

She gave me a small simple smile not showing her pearly white teeth.

"Nope. Not that smile.", I said grabbing her & tickling her sides.

"J-jake! S-s-stopppp! T-that t-tickles!", she yelled in between laughs. I stopped tickling her & pulled her to me, wrapping the covers over us.

"There that smile I love to see.", I said kissing her lips.

"Goodnight Jake.", she said turning around.

"Goodnight, baby.", I said kissing her shoulder & pulling her closer to me.
