EPISODE 103: XCALIBUR AOP 2! UNION OF THE WORLDS! THE FOURTH SESSION! THEMOUNTAIN OF OLYMPUS! THE ASCENT! THE SEAL OF IDENTITY PART XXI: THE WINDS OFFREEDOM VS THE WINDS OF ADVERSITY PART I: COMPREHENDING THE SCALE PART II:COMRADERY AND THE INTERACTION AMONGST ELEMENTAL AFFINITIES!
Ciella, Arlene and Concordia stepped out of the Hall they had undergone their training in. They were met by myself, Saito, Ariel, Keiran and Mitsuki. A larger door appeared as the first door faded away, bearing the same symbols that the first door had.
"If this door has appeared, it means you three have acquired an Aerial Bloodline Limit" Mitsuki said.
"Yeah, we met Arlene's Granny. She taught us some Tracking and Concealment Techniques categorized under two Major Aerial Technique Types, the Aerial Breath and the Aerial Sound" Ciella said.
"And I trained under my Mom, Kraken Andromeda is much stronger now" Concordia said happily.
"Then it's about time we challenged the Field Of Wind" I said and pushed the doors aside.
We walked into a Hall as large as the Field Of Fire. Once more, we noticed a tremendous wall cutting off half of the Field. This Wall had one side made of a mixture of Fire, Flames, Blaze and Wind all intermingled. The other side of the Wall was composed of Storms and a Black Inferno. At the side of the Field where we stood, also my Dad's domain, a gentle breeze blew. At the other side, also the Weaver Of Calamity's Domain, a mixture of Storms and Infernos raged and within that Domain, more Wraiths and Giga-Wraiths stood attacking the Wall and persistently seeking out vulnerabilities through which they could breach the Wall and enter my Dad's Domain.
"Any ideas Arlene, Ciella, Concordia, seeing as you have a Natural Affinity for Wind?" Mitsuki asked.
"Well, while undergoing training under my Granny, we realized some interesting things about Aerial Breath Techniques or simply put Wind, in that it forms a predominant part of the 'atmosphere' and can be used to generate both Enhancing and Debilitating Zones for allies or adversaries. In Christian Lore, the Sky exists to separate the Waters 'Above' from the Waters 'Below' and is for the most parts believed to be a Dome. With regards to Science, it shields the Earth and its inhabitants from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the Sun as well as from Space Debris" Arlene explained.
"In other words, the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone represents a Zone with a Debilitating Atmosphere and your Dad's Zone represents a Zone with an Enhancing Atmosphere. The Wall where their energies or wills clash has become the 'Sky' that filters off certain traits of both their zones preventing those traits from seeping into the other's zones. For your Dad's Zone, the wall cuts off Debilitating Atmospheres and for the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone, it cuts off Enhancing Atmospheres" Ciella explained.
"What I'm really wondering about is why there are Flames in this Field as well. I thought each Field would only have elements corresponding to that Field" Concordia said.
"The Fields are isolated by Affinity Concordia, in that you are right, however, regardless of affinity, all Dream Knights are my Dad's allies. We captured the Field Of Fire. The Fusion Of The Flames with Wind now shows us how that action affects the Field Of Wind and Wind does act as a catalyst to Flame and vice versa. In battles, the Dream Knights do not fight in isolated units based on affinity and even when they do, they are coordinated by Superiors regardless of affinity thus though they excel in different Fields Of Affinity, they still have to work as a Team to achieve the same or similar goals. The Mixture Of the Flames with Wind currently connotes the collaboration between Wind and Flame Type Dream Knights as well as how their Teamwork contributes to the diminishing of the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone. As we ascend the Mountain, the Scale evolves and we no longer see the activities of each Field in isolation but we begin to see the interaction amongst various Fields as well as their connections and how well one Field aligns with another" I explained to my comrades.
"So that's it huh?" Saito realized.
"Uh huh. Going by the info we've received from Ciella and Arlene, we're going to have to create a 'Sky', in other words, a Buffer Zone that reduces the Debilitating Effects Of The Weaver Of Calamity's Zone, then find a way to nullify the Debilitation" I explained.
