We stared at my Dad in shock.
"After going through all that...this is just the mid-point?!" I exclaimed in disbelief.
"The rest is something to look forward to. No spoilers shall be offered to you until your lesson is complete" my Dad said with a laugh.
"Gameplay was tough but...that's what made it interesting plus the challenges we faced were really practical. At the very least...the first three levels of Abraham Mothers'-Laws Needs Theorem we played across the first three eras were" Concordia said.
My Dad laughed.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it" he said.
Then he suddenly assumed a serious expression.
"It's about time we commenced your lesson. Let's start with the basics of the basics...the Nature Of Light" my Dad said.
We nodded.
"As some of you may already know, Light has a dualistic nature. One part of this nature allows us to perceive the Physical World. The aspect of Light that allows us to perceive the Physical World is what is referred to as Material Light. Then there is the second nature of Light which allows one to perceive invisible realities. The aspect of Light that allows one to achieve this feat is referred to as Immaterial Light" my Dad explained.
"Material and Immaterial Light" Ciella reflected deeply on the lessons I'd taught her earlier.
"Material Light is the aspect of Light that gives objects physical form and defines their unique visible traits. That's what we'll focus on Today. The ability of Material Light to define Form" my Dad said.
We listened closely.
"Material Light typically flows in straight lines moving away from the Source Of Light towards its Destination. When Material Light makes contact with any object in its path, the object's form is revealed and visibility of the object is granted. The form the object takes on is determined by two things. The first is the Spectra Of Light that make contact with the object and the second is the Transparency of the Object" my father explained. "Transparency Of The Object determines how much Light passes through the Object. From what I'm saying you may have deduced that an object with a hundred percent transparency is rendered completely invisible. Light Rays that pass through an object determine what aspects of the object are invisible to the Observer. On the other hand, Light Rays that are reflected off an object determine what traits of the object are visible to the Observer. It's for this reason that Air is invisible and Water though it can be touched is colourless".
"I see, so the Light Rays that are reflected off an object determine what we can see with regards to the object. On the other hand, Light Rays that flow through an object determine which traits about the object are invisible to the Observer" I realized.
"Exactly. The specific Spectra Of Light that are reflected off an object determine its colour. When these fuse with the Mass Of The Object, they determine our perception of the Object's Texture. The Object then assumes the colour of the specific Spectra Of Light that are reflected off its body" my father explained.
"I see, so that's how Material Light determines an object's form and defines its Physical Traits huh?" Ciella realized.
My father nodded.
