Over time, the surface of the Frozen Lake past the Wall completely melted and the Lake began to reduce in Level. We now stood on raised ground since the Heat in the Lake thawed the frozen surface of the Lake on our side as well.
"I think you were right San. If the Lake at our side is melting as well even though the lenses are at the other side of the Wall, then there must be an opening beneath the Lake where the Water from the other side can flow into this side. If Heat Exchange is really going on between the Lake at this side and the one at the other side, then the two Lakes aren't really two Lakes at all but rather one Lake separated by the Wall yet connected by a path through the Wall" Mitsuki said.
I raised a fist and thumbed up Keiran with a smirk on my face.
"It looks like you have an actual plan. Fine, I'm interested to see where this leads" Keiran said.
"For now, it's a matter of Time. We just need to find the opening by reducing the level of the Lake" I said.
"So for now we wait" Keiran sighed.
"What's up Keiran, you didn't really think I went and triggered a Death Flag now did you?" I said with a smirk.
"You might not have triggered a Death Flag but you definitely triggered a Planet Destroying Class Catastrophe under the name of a Solar Death Ray" Keiran said with a smirk.
"That's totally subject to debate" I said with a smirk.
Eventually, the gap in the Wall revealed itself. It was a very wide gap. We could easily make it through.
"Let me guess, we freeze the Ceiling now right?" Keiran said.
"Yes, we do, after Concordia plugs the pipes with Earth to prevent a Deluge" I said.
"I see, your plan might actually work" Keiran said.
Concordia got to work plugging the pipes in the Ceiling with Earth while Keiran engulfed the Ceiling in a Frigid Wind.
"What's that supposed to do San, Keiran, Concordia?" Ariel asked curiously.
"It's to prevent us from being fried to death by the Solar Death Rays" I said.
"How?" Ariel asked.
"Just watch. Arlene, you can generate visual sensors so that the others can see what's going on right?" I said seriously.
Arlene nodded.
"Basically, San, Keiran and Concordia are simulating the Rain Cycle. With the Heat from the 'Solar Death Rays', they evaporated tons of Water from the Lake but this Hall is sealed so no Water has really left the Hall. All the Lake Water that was lost is currently circulating about the Hall in the form of Vapour" Arlene explained.
"Yeah, the pipes in the Ceiling are probably to allow the Vapour to collect in the Hollows in the Ceiling however if Concordia doesn't plug the pipes, the moment Keiran freezes the Ceiling, the Water in the Ceiling's Hollows will condense into liquid form and fall back down. By plugging the pipes in the Ceiling, San, Keiran and Concordia can keep the Vapour that collected in the Ceiling's Hollows trapped there" Mitsuki explained.
"Yes, that's true, however the Water trapped in the Ceiling isn't nearly as much as the rest of it circulating about the Hall in the form of Vapour. There's a reason Keiran's freezing the Ceiling. It's to condense the Vapour trapped in the Ceiling's Hollows after Concordia plugs the pipes. The condensed Water will envelop the lenses and make them foggy. Even if the lenses aren't made foggy, the Water will diverge the Rays Of Light flowing from the Light sources and thus prevent them from converging. You know how Water, Ice and Prisms diffract Rays Of Light? This is just like that" I said seriously.
The Vapour contained in the Ceiling melted and covered the lenses diffracting the Rays Of Light flowing through the lenses and thus dispersing the Heat. This caused the room to light up with multiple colours like a Rainbow.
"Now's our chance to cross to the other side" I said.
Concordia generated a platform with her Kraken Andromeda which we stood on. She moved us past the opening in the Crystal Wall to the other side. At the other side of the Hall, we found ground at about the same level as the opening. There was also a Gate with a Key fixed within it.
"I see, so if we didn't reduce the level of the Lake to reveal the opening, we'd not have been able to cross to this side and if the Lake's level was slightly higher, this door would have been invisible to us" Keiran realized.
"Well, what are you waiting for, let's cross over" I said and unlocked the door.
