EPISODE 198: XCALIBUR AOP 2! UNION OF THE WORLDS! THE FIFTH SESSION! THESUMMIT OF OLYMPUS! THE ZENITH! REALIZING IDENTITY PART VIII: THE SIGIL ENHANCEMENTPROGRAM: ARLENE AND MITSUKI PART I: KNOW THINE ENEMY!

Meanwhile, Arlene and Mitsuki found themselves at the heart of a Labyrinth.

"Arlene, Mitsuki, you are at the heart of enemy territory and this Labyrinth is the enemy's stronghold. Your goal is to make it to the exit safely" my Dad's voice explained the trial.

"I see" Arlene thought deeply about the situation.

"Any ideas Arlene?" Mitsuki asked.

"We're at the heart of enemy territory however it doesn't appear the enemy is aware of our presence just yet. Our initial goal should be to escape without getting noticed" Arlene explained.

"However, we have no idea of the layout of the enemy's territory. We're going to have to map out this Labyrinth first. If we wander aimlessly, we're likely to stumble into the enemy's sentries" Mitsuki realized.

"I'll begin by making some clones. It looks like there are currently five entrances leading to this location" Arlene said as she made five clones of herself.

She handed each of her clones a mini-representation of Christopher.

"Scout ahead and relay information concerning your sightings and the layout of this stronghold to me" Arlene instructed.

Her clones obeyed and each headed down a single passage. Arlene stared at Christopher which had materialized in her hands as a screen. The map of the enemy's stronghold was gradually expanding.

"I wonder what sort of enemies we might encounter" Mitsuki said.

"If there are only Wraiths, Giga-Wraiths and Omnicron in here, we might stand a chance as long as we don't get spotted. Those categories of Nightmares don't have a wide scout range. The Omnicron are generally close range combatants that mow their foes down with their powerful kicks but that's only when they battle alone. However, when they are mounted by a Giga-Wraith, they can utilize energy attacks shot out of their mouths as well as synchronized energy attacks that allow them to pool their energy into a single attack. The attack takes on the form of a powerful curse that deals Debilitating Physical Damage. We'll need to avoid them. The Wraiths and Giga-Wraiths on the other hand specialize in draining humans of their positive emotions leaving only fear, negativity and malice in their wake. They can only achieve this however if there is even the slightest fear or negativity in the hearts of their opponents. When they attempt this on a person who has conquered their fears or is wholly positive, not only is the attack nullified but it becomes a double-edged sword that weakens the Wraiths. Basically, a person with a pure spirit is poison to the Wraiths" Arlene explained.

"And these are not the enemies we should be worrying about?" Mitsuki asked.

"If we intend to make it out of the enemy's fortress without getting spotted or captured, these are not the enemies we should be concerned with. Their abilities are certainly terrifying however they do not have a vast scout range perhaps except for the Wraiths and Giga-Wraiths when they take to the air. The enemy we should really be concerned about are the Bloodhounds. They have very powerful senses of smell and hearing and can even detect fear via the heartbeat rate of a person. If in considering the enemy's forces, we think of the Omnicron as Tanks and the Wraiths and Giga-Wraiths as Mages, the Bloodhounds would be the enemy's Sentries and Scouts" Arlene explained.

"I knew the Weaver Of Calamity's Army was organized but I never really thought they were this organized" Mitsuki admitted.

"If we are even spotted or detected by the Bloodhounds, a single howl from a Bloodhound could put the enemy's entire army nested within this stronghold on our trail" Arlene explained grimly.
