We spent our free time exploring the Hall Of Earth until at last the older Dream Knights summoned us. Before us were four sacks. One had the emblem of Fire on it, another, the emblem of Water, another, the emblem of Wind and another of Earth.
"These are special seeds. Let's call them Sigil Seeds for convenience. For now, why don't you scan them with the Libra System to get a feel for what your trial will entail" Face said.
We walked up to the sacks. Ciella, Saito, Ariel, Keiran and I scanned the sack with the emblem of Fire. A notification popped up.
"Flame Sigil Seeds. A category of special seeds that thrive in arid atmospheres. They do not do very well in humid atmospheres where there is excess Water" the notification read.
Concordia and Keiran scanned the sack with the Wind Emblem.
"Wind Sigil Seeds. A category of special seeds that thrive in Windy Climates. Propagation by Wind is a natural trait so they can quickly multiply and spread in Windy Climates and do not require soil with great fertility or lots of Water to thrive" the notification read.
Next, Keiran, Arlene, Mitsuki and Concordia scanned the sack with the Earth Emblem.
"Earth Sigil Seeds. Very sensitive and fragile category of seeds that require soils with great fertility as well as carefully regulated amounts of each element to thrive. They cannot thrive in very arid or humid climates. Propagation is usually carried out by insects and animals" the notification read.
Ciella, Concordia, Keiran, Mitsuki and I scanned the sack with the emblem of Water next.
"Water Sigil Seeds, a special category of seeds that thrive only in lands with excess Water. They possess a natural trait to propagate their seeds via Water and their seeds possess the unique trait of Flotation. They cannot thrive in arid climates though and can easily be destroyed by Storms. A moderate amount of Wind would be optimum" the notification read.
"I see, very interesting" I said with a smirk.
"What is San?" Ciella asked.
I began to work on my menu.
"First, let me link my menu to yours via the Pisces System Of Alliance" I said and linked my menu to that of the others.
"Next, I'll fuse the Taurus, Cancer, Libra, Leo and Gemini Systems. Finally, I'll correlate the Four Basic Elements by assigning them to their associated Symbolisms and integrate the data the Libra System captured concerning these seeds into the Integrated System for a translation of the facts we've collected so far" I said.
"Wh-What's this?!" everyone stared at the data in their menus in surprise.
"Figured as much" I said with a smirk.
Concerning the Fire Sigil Seeds, this was the translated data gathered about them.
"Flame Affinity Types. A category of special affinity types that thrive in Fortifying Climates. They do not do very well in Empathetic Climates where there is excess Kindness".
Concerning Wind Sigil Seeds, this was the data concerning them.
"Wind Affinity Types. A category of special affinity types that thrive in Liberating Climates. Communication is a natural trait so they can quickly expand in Liberating Atmospheres. They can also thrive in Fortifying Atmospheres and do not require careful nurture and excess Kindness to thrive".
Concerning Earth Sigil Seeds, this was the data concerning them.
"Earth Affinity Types. Very sensitive and fragile category of affinity types that require careful nurture and controlled amounts of each atmosphere evoked around them. They cannot thrive in very Fortifying or very Empathetic Climates. They thrive when there is an intermediary to communicate their intentions" the notification read.
Finally concerning Water Sigil Seeds, this was the translated data regarding them.
"Water Affinity Types. A special category of Affinity Types that thrive only in an excess of Kindness. They naturally expand via the Kindness they radiate and tend to soar in empathetic atmospheres. They cannot thrive in Fortifying Climates though and can easily be destroyed by adversity. A moderate amount of Freedom would be optimum" the final notification read.
"I see, so these seeds correspond to affinity types huh?" Concordia realized.
"Exactly, as Terranean Dream Knights, we're responsible for nurturing each affinity type of Dream Knight and at times, this involves creating custom environments for each Dream Knight of a specific affinity. When this is done adequately, the latent potential of the Dream Knight can be brought out. When done carelessly, a Dream Knight could become pessimistic and eventually end up with a cursed sigil via the negativity they channel into their Sigil. You will be tasked with raising some of these seeds. Of course you're free to choose which seeds you'll raise and how you do this will be entirely up to you" Face explained.
