Ariel ran towards me.
"Hang on San! I'll nullify the Toxin immediately!" she called.
She stretched her hands over me. A Golden Blaze streamed out of her hands. I felt my strength returning.
"BOSS STAT: MORTAL! ARMOURED SCALES SKILL: SEALED! CATACLYSM SKILL: SEALED! FEAR SIPHONING SKILL: SEALED! ADDITIONAL STAT: BLIND!"
The Weaver Of Calamity's stats read.
"What's going on?" Concordia wondered.
"Yeah, why is the Weaver Of Calamity weakening?" Mitsuki asked.
"That's because...for the Weaver Of Calamity, a Debilitating Zone is his Enhancing Zone. That is why he was impervious to all our attacks and his stat read immortal for as long as we remained within his Zone. However, tip the scale and send the Weaver Of Calamity to an Enhancing Zone and you'd find the Zone Debilitating to him. If you think about the way the Weaver Of Calamity's abilities work, you'll find that this is the logical conclusion" I explained.
"Fear and poison make him stronger. Everything debilitating to mankind enhances the Weaver Of Calamity. So if everything debilitating to us enhances him..." Concordia realized.
"Then what enhances us is debilitating to him" I explained.
"So that's what Mom meant whenever she smashed your games. The technique Dad used against the Weaver Of Calamity" Saito realized.
"Yeah, to attack the Weaver Of Calamity with a Debilitating Stat would be like attempting to kill a snake with its own venom. That won't work" Ariel realized.
"THE CONDITION FOR SWITCHING SIGIL FROM DORMANT STATE TO ACTIVE STATE HAS BEEN FULFILLED! AWAITING FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS!" Mitsuki's sigil spoke.
"Huh? What's going on Internal Titanium Chrono Chrome? I haven't downed four hundred adversaries or dealt my foe four hundred hits" Mitsuki seemed puzzled.
"EACH FOE DOWNED IS A SECOND. THE CONDITION FOR SWITCHING ME FROM DORMANT TO ACTIVE STATE IS FOUR HUNDRED SECONDS. AT THAT POINT, I PERFORM A REVOLUTION. THIS REVOLUTION IS THE TRUE CONDITION FOR SWITCHING ME FROM DORMANT TO ACTIVE STATE. THAT CONDITION WAS FULFILLED WHEN SAN AND KEIRAN CROSSED OVER TO THE WEAVER OF CALAMITY'S ZONE AND TOSSED THE WEAVER OF CALAMITY INTO AN ENHANCING ZONE. A REVOLUTION HAS BEEN ACHIEVED. I CAN NOW ENTER MY ACTIVE STATE" Mitsuki's sigil spoke.
"Mitsuki...are you conversing with your Sigil?" Concordia asked in shock.
"I know right? This is a first for me too" Mitsuki said.
"INTERNAL TITANIUM CHRONO CHROME! AWAKEN!" Mitsuki called.
The Internal Titanium Chrono Chrome Dimension materialized. This time, there were two giant clocks. The first was brightly coloured and moved clockwise at a very slow rate. Around it were countless clocks that moved clockwise. The second was dark and moved counterclockwise. Surrounding it were countless similar clocks but smaller that did same.
"This huge dark clock must be the Weaver Of Calamity's Time. It is just as huge as History's Time" Mitsuki realized.
"You want to speed up that clock" I advised.
"Yeah, if Enhancing Stats really deal the Weaver Of Calamity Debilitating Damage, instead of slowing down his perception of time, I'm going to speed it up!" Mitsuki said and stretched her hand towards the large clock. The hands of the clock began to move quickly.
"Spin! Faster than ever before!" Mitsuki roared.
When the Internal Titanium Chrono Chrome Dimension disappeared, the Weaver Of Calamity stood completely frozen.
"Talk about an Undead" I whistled.
"It's time to attack! Let's utilize Blaze!" Keiran ordered.
Saito, Ariel, Keiran, Ciella and I surrounded the Weaver Of Calamity and engulfed it in an intense Blaze firing out of Shin Seiryuu Enjinn's hovering above us. Concordia and Arlene fanned the Blaze amping it up. Gradually, the Weaver Of Calamity began to shrink until it completely disappeared.
"Hell yeah! We beat Calamity itself!" I roared.
Everyone cheered as well.
"CONGRATULATIONS! THE FOURTH SESSION OF XCALIBUR AOP! THE MOUNTAIN OF OLYMPUS IS NOW COMPLETE!" my Dad's voice sounded.
We logged out. I opened the Tome Of Thirteen Rules.
"CONGRATULATIONS SANZIRI NIGHTBANE (JUNIOR)! THE ELEVENTH RULE HAS ON THIS DAY BEEN FULFILLED!"
The Tome read. I smiled and looked around. Everyone was talking excitedly of our battle. Then gradually, words began to materialize within the Tome.
"THE TWELFTH RULE: 'ON THE SUMMIT OF A MOUNTAIN, DISCOVERY OF SELF SHALL BEGIN!'
I shut the Tome.
