Chapter 18
OLIVER'S POV
She really is hiding something. I'm not going to deny that anymore. And we've been officially together for 3 months, yet she doesn't feel like telling me what's going on with her. I know she promised she would say and I know I promised that I will wait but I'm getting impatient. It's burning my own skin as I stand around by myself by our tree, wondering where she must have gone. Is she even safe?
Fuck this.
I hurriedly dropped my promises and ran back to the castle. She hasn't made it that far, considering she's not a fast runner but she really looked like she was in a hurry. I climbed down the dungeon stairs, feeling the creep of the Slytherin students' eyes on me but I shook it off.
Just as I was about to turn the corner, she comes out of their common room and heads towards the other side of the dungeon halls, probably to the other staircase. I followed her, making sure she didn't know that I was until we got out of the castle. Her face was worrisome, her cheeks flushed pink and her hair messy.
As she briskly walked to the woods, she tied her hair into a ponytail that made my stomach flip. She never ties her hair and seeing her with a high ponytail is something new to fall for. I hid behind multiple trees, my feet careful not to make any sound as she goes deeper and deeper into the woods.
She glanced back once but I had hidden myself behind a tree. She suddenly runs, making me curse under my breath. I tried to run as silent as possible, knowing she's very attentive to her surroundings. I have no idea how far we were from the castle until a beam of light struck the ground that was right in front of her.
I almost reached for her, to pull her far from it but she willingly walked into the bright light. My eyes widen as her silhouette behind the white disappears. My mind was running around with what to do next. The bright light was hurting myself but I am so close to finding out what she was hiding. I feel guilty, I do, but I just wanted to know what's going on.
I took a step forward, before I knew it, I got sucked into the light and walked right in. No seconds after, I felt my body tingling with such energy. It was pain and all kinds of shocks passing through my veins. I had closed my eyes, my hands curling into fist as I felt my brain get wrecked.
And then I felt my soul crash on the ground. I physically crashed to the ground, my back against a cold floor and my eyes sealed from another kind of brightness. There were sounds I was unfamiliar of but it was whispering voices. My eyes slowly open, my surroundings slowly registering in my brain.
The sky was blue. Cloudless. Peaceful. But it was noisy. Footsteps around me. When I have snapped back to existence, I sit up, a massive headache crashing down. I looked around the scene, the faces around me, staring as if I was an animal in a zoo. Buildings stand tall behind them. Some of it have flashy big posters of ads, some people with glam, and some clothing and bags. And the noise. It was deafening. Not just the whispers and loud talks, but the sound of cars behind them.
Where am I?

ALI'S POV
I stormed out of my house by the sea, locking the door behind me. The new suit was extremely uncomfortable, the dark grey clothing with gold accent sticking to me. I feel humiliated but this suit apparently has some type of technology that my Asgardian brain can't comprehend.
"Hey, ready, Ali?" Harley asked from the open back of the quinjet. He was wearing his black hoodie and jeans. He stifled a laugh when he saw my uncomfortable face as I entered the jet.
