Chapter 19

"Wait... you're telling me that everyone on this ship can go to alternate universes where... your aliens don't exist?" Oliver confusedly asked. We were still on our way to the planet while the three boys got into a conversation where I quietly dealt with my own intrusive thoughts.

"Yeah, man," Rocket answers.

"Is that common knowledge?" Oliver asked.

Harley shook his head with a laugh. "Nah, only those of Fury's know the real deal. Has Ali ever said anything about how she goes from one world to another?"

I looked at Oliver and waited for his answer. He honestly said, "No, not really. Didn't know about it until I actually had to be sucked in the white light. How do you even do that? Is that a higher level of magic or... technology?"

"Actually-"

"It's magic," I cut off Harley. "A different kind of magic than the one you're used to. This has godly powers in it too, that's why it can be applied to your world."

"Is that so... so there are no flying brooms here?"

"No, there isn't."

"Why?" This came from Harley. "What's the flying brooms for?"

"Quidditch," Oliver answers, with a smile on his face.

My eyes widen with Harley's next statement. "What the fuck is quidditch?"

"No-."

Oliver excitedly cut me off and started rambling on and on about the magic sport. He started off with what's his favourite team and who are his favourite players. Then he quickly inserted the time he met one of them and got all excited in his chair. He proceeded with explaining the basics and how the game works like he's teaching Harley how to play. It went on and on and on. He had gone over his top 10 favourite plays, some of his own, some of the other best players.

Harley didn't shut him up but pretended to listen and stifle laughs. He'd look at me with a raised eyebrow as if to say, "Him? Really?" I rolled my eyes and quickly flipped him off. Oliver didn't seem to see this as he didn't stop.

"...that's why I'm going to professionally play quidditch like my dad. He'd be very proud since his career was stopped at an early age. That is if the pitch back in Hogwarts will be made once again."

"That's really something else, dude," Harley says, turning back in his seat to give the grinning Oliver a thumbs up.

"Okay, shut up everyone," Rocket suddenly said. "We're going to jump in 3...2...1..."

In a blink of an eye, we were met with a purple and sand coloured like planet in front of us. There was a hazy after effect of the jump that seemed to have affected Harley and Oliver the most. Not until they saw what was ahead of us.

"Is that it?" Harley asked, at the edge of his seat.

"Z28 it is," Rocket had answered.

The planet seemed fairly normal. The Milano set foot on a deserted sand area where there were only big rocks and a wall at one side. The planet didn't have any source of light; hence it was cold and dark. Air was no problem since it was being inhabited by creatures like us. Oliver had taken off his school robe and had his plain grey jumper over his polo.

We exited the spacecraft and unto the rocky sands. Upon nearing the grey wall that seemed to enclose a city behind, we were greeted by two tall and burry creatures. They had an armour on and had guns hanging from their shoulder.

Rocket did the talking as we stayed at one side. Best to say he was kicked back to us with a lump and a gruff from the guards before turning their backs on us.
