Aru's POV

I woke up with Moe pawing at my feet. "Moe, silly kitty. Stop that," I laughed. Kara ran into my room and Sunny, in ring form, blinded me with its bright light.

"Aru. You need to see downstairs, right now!" Kara practically yelled.

"Ok, ok, I'm getting up," I mumbled. I picked up Mochi and carried her downstairs. Everyone was eating at the table, including Ava.

"They don't remember us coming home, and they have no idea who I am," Kara said. I looked at Aiden, who had his arm wrapped around Ava's shoulder.

"Hi, everyone?" I asked.

"Aru! Your home!" Brynne and Mini shouted. Aiden looked up and me, waved, then continued to eat his cereal

"As I have been for the past two months. I've spent all summer here, and it's two weeks until school starts," I said.

"Wow, you're so funny!" Ava said, getting up and walking over to me. "Hi, I'm Ava Smith. You must be Arundhati." She offered me her hand to shake it, but I pushed it away.

"I prefer to be called Aru. And I know very well who you are." Aiden glanced up at Ava and I before I grabbed her arm and dragged her into the kitchen. "What did you do?!"

"Aiden's mine again. Isn't that great?!" Ava squealed. "I found something in your dad's old hideout-"

"Let me stop you there. Not my dad," I interrupted, holding up a hand.

"Close enough. Anyway, it was for memory. So I erased their's up to the day that you returned."

"Did you erase Denver's memory?" I asked.

"No. There was only enough for the Potatoes," Ava spoke gently. It disturbed me to see her acting so nice.

"Undo it, now," Kara said sternly.

"I wish I could darling Katie, but only your father knew how to do that."

"My name is Kara, not Katie or Karter. Whatever name you may want to come up with, I only go by Kara."

"Sorry, I wasn't listening, what were you saying?" Ava said in a teasing voice.

Kara lost her cool and punched Ava in the eye. "Don't do that. It's not cute," Kara snapped.

"Aiden!" Ava cried. Aiden came walking in and saw Ava holding her head in her hands.

"Shah! What did you do?!" Aiden yelled.

"It wasn't me. And either way, she deserved it. You may not know it now, but you guys aren't made for each other," I said.

"Since we're all spreading lies here," Ava started. "I might as well say I think I'm the real daughter of Indra.

"How do you know that Aru is the daughter of Indra?" Aiden asked.

"Oh, uh. I overheard you and the others talking once."

I was sick of Ava. So, a punch in the eye wasn't good enough for her. I made Vajra into a long spear, crackling with electricity. I swung it in the air and hit her on the head.

"Whoops, I'm so clumsy," I lied.

"Aru, get out," Aiden said. I dropped Vajra and grabbed his hoodie collar to push him against a wall.

"Let's get one thing straight. I live here, not you or anyone except Kara. You do not tell me what to do. I'm the reincarnation of Arjuna and you're just Princess Draupadi. So back off." I dropped him and he fell to the floor. "But I will gladly leave, so I don't have to be around that roach that you call your girlfriend," I finished, walking away with Kara.
