Beca Mitchell swears she found her soulmate, the only problem? She's married.

Beca met Chloe Beale in a coffee shop one morning and immediately fell for the bright blue eyes that looked her way. They sat and talked for hours before chloe had to leave to pick up her seven year old son, Kane Riley. Beca was sad to part with the women but they exchanged numbers and chloe promised they'd meet again.

Chloe was glad to meet Beca. She felt safe with the small brunette and immediately felt a connection to the girl. The only problem was her husband, Tom Riley.

Chloe was forced into a relationship with the man back in high school when she told her parents she was gay. They didn't take it well and soon she found herself forced to love a man who just abused her. He constantly would beat chloe and would just use her for his pleasure.

About six months into their "relationship" chloe fell pregnant. She cried everyday, not wanting to carry that monsters baby. The day Kane was born she felt happy for the first time in forever. She fell in love with her baby boy and Tom seem to as well. She thought maybe with the baby around Tom would be less violent. She was wrong.

Whenever Kane would do something that made Tom mad he would take it out on chloe. Chloe tired to tell him that it was just the way babies were and that he would get better as he got older but Tom didn't believe her. Instead he would just hit her more.

Chloe was grateful that Tom never hit their son. He never once even got close to laying a hand on his son, only chloe. Chloe wished she could just leave the man but he's threatened to kill her if she ever tried to leave and to kill the man or women she left him for.

Chloes been trapped for eight years, Beca's finally been some freedom for her.

The two women would meet at the coffee shop on a regular basis. They even began hanging out at Beca's apartment. Every time they'd spend time together they'd fall more and more in love with the other.

One night while they were watching movies at Beca's apartment they kissed, and soon began making out. When they broke apart for air the two women smiled at each other.

"What was that?" Beca asked out of breath.

"I think that was us working out our feelings." Chloe chuckled.

"I fell for you the moment we locked eyes in the coffee shop, you were and are the most beautiful women I've ever seen." Beca told her honestly.

"I fell for you too. I just couldn't do anything because of my husband." Chloe said sadly.

"Leave him." Beca shrugged.

"I wish I could but I can't." Chloe told her.

"Why?" Beca asked curiously.

"It's a long and complicated story that I'd prefer not to get into. But know if I could I would in a heartbeat. I fell for you and I can lose you now." Chloe said.

"I don't want to lose you either but do you understand how hard it will be just to be your friend and not kiss you when I want?" Beca asked and chloe smirked.

"I never said you can't kiss me." She said leaning forward until their lips were just inches apart.

"What about you husband?" Beca asked.

"He doesn't need to know." Chloe said before connecting their lips for a second time that night.

After then the two would go out and act almost like they were together but they weren't. It confused Beca but she never pushed it, knowing chloe said she can't leave her husband. She always wants to ask the redhead why but she respects that she doesn't want too.
