Birthday

Spending the last four years with chloe as a Bella made Beca pick up on a few things she regularly does. Things like, if she cooks their must be music, she sticks her tongue into the side of her cheek when concentrating, or how when she gets really excited she does a little dance.

Being together in a relationship Beca picked up more little things chloe does, like when she leaves the bathroom after a shower, fully clothed, she'll wrap her towel around her head so only her face is visible. She does this because her ears get cold from her wet hair.

Or how she sleeps best when she's laying fully on top of Beca in bed but will rarely do it willingly because she doesn't want to upset Beca. Beca usually will move chloe on top of her so the redhead gets a good night sleep.

One thing Beca and the Bellas noticed is that chloe gets really excited about her birthday. She never asks for the day to be all about her, but growing up her family always did everything together on her or her siblings birthdays and she loved it. She tries to do the same thing with the Bellas birthday.

She always will ask you if you know what day it is, but never actually tell you the day if you forget. Beca noticed it when Amy forgot her birthday the first year and Jessica forgetting it the second.

She's planned to "forget" Chloes birthday and conveniently not be around when the other Bellas talk about it. She's instead going to be planning a really nice, romantic date for chloe and find her the best Birthday Present.

The other Bellas know her plan, so hopefully they won't bring up Chloes birthday around her and she has Jesse helping her set everything up so she can finish everything in time.

"Beca! Beca wake up!" Chloe said excitedly.

"God what time is it?" Beca asked keeping her eyes closed.

"Seven am but that's not important." Chloe said.

"Seven am! Are you trying to kill me Beale. We should still be sleeping." Beca said pulling the redhead down into her and trying to fall back asleep.

"But Beca guess what day it is today!" Chloe said pulling back from the brunette slightly.

"Tuesday? Don't know what's so important about a Tuesday that's got you up so early but I'd like some sleep." Beca said, trying not to smirk.

"You-you don't remember?" Chloe asked, her voice saddening.

Beca felt bad but she needed to keep up with the joke, "Babe it's Tuesday, when does anything cool happen on a Tuesday? Can we just go back to sleep?" Beca asked.

"Yeah, yeah sure." Chloe said before laying back down with the brunette.

'Maybe she can't remember because it's too early. Beca does love her sleep.' Chloe thought to herself.

Two hours later Beca stirred awake again, chloe was laying beside her reading. She wrapped her arms around Chloes waist and placed her head in her lap.

She knew she was probably hurting Chloes feelings a bit with forgetting her birthday so she tried to make up for it by being affectionate. She knew chloe loved when she showed extra affection to her.

She kissed the exposed part of Chloes stomach and heard the girl giggle lightly. She felt chloe begin to run her fingers through her hair and smiled.

"You awake now?" Chloe asked with a smile.

"Barely." Beca answered and chloe laughed.

"Do you now know what today is?" Chloe asked hopefully.

"It's a busy fucking day is what it is." Beca answered and chloe scrunched her eyes brows in confusion.

"Huh?" She asked.
