It's crazy how your life can change within moments. One day you can be as happy as can be and the next your on your own. That's the reality for Beca Mitchell.

Beca's been homeless for ten years. She's been moving from city to city trying to make some money and just keep herself alive.

Lately she's found herself in a small town just thirty minutes outside of New York. It was a small place of maybe thirty people. She loves it here.

The people are so kind. Her first day here Jenny at the hair salon gave her a free wash and cut which she was extremely grateful for. There she had met Mrs Susie, an older women who loved to knit. Mrs Susie then came back a week later with a homemade sweater for Beca so she wouldn't get cold along with some cookies. Beca had never been so thankful.

Then theirs Jonny from the convince store. He gave Beca a full meal her first night here and continues to give her small snacks each day. After he noticed Beca walking into the city for a week he began offering her rides as he took his son to school.

Beca asked around to see if she could get a job with one of them but none of them needed help, could afford to have her or trusted her enough which Beca completely understood.

As the winter set in the Johnsons allowed Beca to sleep on their front porch so she had some coverage from the rain and snow. The had apologized for not letting her in but they had two small children to think about first. Beca completely understood and thanked them countless times for the pillow and blanket they lended her as well as letting her sleep there.

Once the Johnsons moved they continued to let her sleep there. They just asked for her to not be there if they were going to show the house which Beca complied too.

Sometimes Beca thinks back on how she got here. Why she ended up the way she did.

Flashback.

"Becaaaa! Give me kiss." Chloe pouted when Beca leaned back.

"What about your parents Chlo? We can't have them catching us." Beca nervously said as she glanced towards the door.

The two lived in a very anti-gay town. Everyone their believed love should be between a man and a women so the two girls have had to be careful and keep their relationship a secret until they could run away from this place.

"My parents never come up here and even if they did they would knock. Stop being so paranoid and give me a kiss. I haven't gotten one all day." She said.

"Fine. Only because your cute." Beca smirked as she leaned in to kiss the girl.

As their kiss got more heated chloe laid back so Beca was leaning more over her. Before they could react Chloes bedroom door swung open and there stood Chloes father.

"What the hell! Get out of here Mitchell!" His voice boomed.

Beca immediately got off the bed and looked at the man in fear.

"Mr Beale I-" Beca started but was cut off.

"Shut the fuck up! We don't accept Gays in this town! I can't believe you forced my daughter to be like you!" He shouted and grabbed her collar.

He began pulling her away as Beca turned to face chloe one last time.

"I love you Beale." She said to the teary eyed girl before she was shoved down the stairs and out the door.

"Wait till your father here's about this." He spat before slamming the door closed.

"Fuck." Beca whispered to herself before running home.
