Surprise Wedding Song

Today was suppose to be the best day of Chloes life, and it was, except something was missing.

More like Someone.

Beca wasn't able to make it to her wedding day due to her tour and it broke Chloes heart. She wanted to reschedule but Beca talked her out of it, saying it'd be unfair to the other guests who already took the time off. Chloe was sad but still continued her wedding as planned.

Chicago was doing his best to cheer his fiancé up, but he knew the only thing that would make her happy was Beca. So he called her.

"Hey Chicago what's up?" Beca asked as she answered the phone.

"Hey Bec, I know you've already said you can't make it but Chloes devastated. Is there anything I can do that will make it so you can come?" He asked, not wanting to beat around the bush.

Beca let out a sigh, "I really wish I could but this tour has been planned for a year now and my manager won't budge no matter what I say. If it was a tour of America I probably could've made it work but this is a world tour. I'm suppose to be in Australia the day of your wedding." She told him.

Chicago hung his head, "Could you maybe write our first dance song then? I know it would mean a lot to chloe." He asked.

"I think I could manage that." She answered.

"Good because I was going to ask you anyways, I actually had a request if you wouldn't mind." He said and Beca laughed.

"Sure what is it?" She chuckled.

"My grandparents painted this picture of the perfect relationship. They've been together for about 65 years and their love never faltered. I want that with Chlo, I want to have beautiful children with her that look identical to her, I want to build a love so strong with her. I want to be there for her through the rough times and the good. I want to wake up in thirty years from now beside her with hundreds of pictures of our life surrounding us. She's all I need to survive and I can't wait to spend my life with her. If you could somehow put that into a song I would be so grateful." He said.

"Damn chic, didn't think I was about to get the whole plan of your future." Beca chuckled, "but yeah I'll see what I can do. I'll try to remember all of that." She told him.

"Thank you Bec I owe you one." He said.

"Its no problem. The least I could do for missing your wedding. Maybe I can try to FaceTime in, who knows. I'll get started on the song as soon as I can so I can get it recorded and send it over." She said.

"Chloe will be so happy. And if by any chance you can make it, let me know so I can maybe set you up to play it live or just surprise Chlo." He said.

"Will do. I've got to get back to touring so I'll talk to you guys soon. Bye chic." She said.

"Bye Bec." He said hanging up.

Chicago walked up to his and Chloes shared bedroom to see the girl starring at a photo sadly.

"Hey hon, you alright?" He asked coming to sit beside her.

"Yeah." She sighed, "Just wishing Beca could come to the wedding. Never thought my best friend wouldn't be there." She said setting the photo down and hugging the man.

"I know you do and I bet Beca wishes she could come as well. Life happens Chlo and sometimes jobs won't let you. If she could she'd be here in a heartbeat." He told her as he kissed her head.

"I know she would and that's why I love her." Chloe mumbled.

"Let's get some rest yeah?" He suggested and Chloe nodded.
