Singles you up

Today was Beca's first ever performance. Her Boss from the studio she interned at thought she was artist material and sighed her up for what he calls the discover concert. Basically he invited a lot of big names to the concert to help new artists be discovered. Beca's his leading act.

Beca peaked out the curtain to get a look at the crowd. She smiled when she spotted all the Bellas who all flew out to support her.

After her move to New York with Amy and Chloe she had a rough start. She ended up bartending at night and interning during the day. This was a huge deal for her.

Her smile falters a bit when she spots Chicago next to Chloe with his arm around her. The two had met at a coffee shop and soon became an item. Beca absolutely hates the guy as well as the others.

"You ready?" Her boss comes up behind her.

"Yeah just a bit of nerves." She smiled.

"You're going to do awesome Bec. Remember the plan. You're going to preform three songs now and then later tonight we'll send you back out to sing one more and then answer questions from the crowd about what it's like to be an upcoming artist." He tells her.

"Alright got it." She gives him a thumbs up before he heads off on stage.

She hears him introduce her and runs off onto stage. She smiles brightly at everyone cheering her, especially the bellas who you can hear over everyone.

She locked eyes with Chloe who gave her a thumbs up and smile. Beca smiled back before beginning her set and absolutely crushing it.

It was coming to the end of the concert and Beca was sent back out for the last song of the concert.

When the crowd cheers like crazy she places her hand on her chest in mock surprise.

"Wow. And I thought you all were faking your love from earlier." She joked earning more screams.

She laughs, "Well I've come to close out the show. I hope everyone had an amazing time and found a few new artists they enjoy. Afterwards I'll be up here to answer any questions anyone might have about being a new and upcoming artist." She said.

"Alright I'll get to singing now. This is called singles you up." She laughed as the track began.

"Oh my god!" Stacie exclaims smacking anyone in her reach which ended up being Aubrey and Chloe.

"What what?" Aubrey asked.

"She's doing it!" She exclaims.

"Doing what?" Chloe asked.

"Growing a pair now shush." Stacie said smiling.

I ain't heard you laugh like that in a long time

Beca decides to make a bold move and sing the first chorus directly to Chloe, not hiding the fact that she pointed at Chicago at the crazy part.
