On Wednesday morning Tyler's leg was finally completely healed, which meant he is going to school with us. I successfully avoided Elliot for now, only getting a few secretive glances in the cafeteria, which didn't go unnoticed.
Natalie still has this theory that we'd be a perfect couple and that he likes me and wants to shoot his shot with me. If she'd actually know what was going on, she'd flip out. On the same topic, everybody would probably flip out if they found out about my mate bond with Elliot. It stays a secret from my pack and his own. The only two people that know and are going to know about the bond are a part of it. I have no intention of revealing it to my family just yet, until I know I can actually trust him and I know what I actually want.
Tyler is a little more annoyed this morning, as he knows he is going to face the people from our enemy pack today. One of them hurt him, bit out a chunk of his leg and he was ready to pay them back.
I step out of the car, my nostrils feeling with Elliot's scent immediately. Like my wolf searches only for his scent. I look at him with my blue eyes, seeing his figure leaned against the wall of the school, as he talks to Max. His hazel eyes find me immediately and I notice the corners of his lips turn up slightly.
Tyler growls next to me and I grip his forearm tight enough to make him look at me. His green eyes meet mine and I shake my head.
"Don't get worked up about them. Just ignore them." I suggest and he roughly pulls his arm out of my small hand. "Like I'll listen to my baby sister's commands." He growls and starts walking to the school, leaving me behind. "It's not a command..." My voice becomes weak at the end of the sentence and I feel Alec's hand on my shoulder. He shakes his head, telling me to just leave him be. A frown forms on my face, as I head after Tyler, with Alec by my side.
Ty casts a glower at Elliot and Max, before heading into the school with Sam hot on his tail. My eyes meet Elliot's when I pass him and I notice how his amused smirk turns into a soft smile. I pull my look away, ignoring the fact that my heart picked up its pace.
I notice Rebecca inside with a few of the junior girls by her side and I see how she gives me an amused grin when I walk by. I have been ignoring her ever since that day when she pushed my buttons and I almost shifted into my half form in front of everybody.
I head straight to class, ignoring everybody that is from the Midnight pack and successfully avoiding them as well. I notice Natalie is already in her assigned seat, waiting for me and Alec. When she notices us, she waves frantically in excitement.
"Morning." Alec greets her as we sit in the row in front of her. Nat's smile widens when her eyes land on me and I mentally prepare myself for what's coming up.
"Have you seen Mr. Sexy outside the school? It looked like he was waiting for you." Natalie almost sings out, calling Elliot by the nickname she gave him. She is determined to drive me crazy every single day by pointing out everything he does.
In conclusion, even if I stay away from him, I know everything he does because Natalie is on a deadly mission to get me to like him.
"He wasn't waiting for me." I tell her, sinking under the table a little more. Alec is already used to the routine now. Every single day Natalie starts with Mr. Sexy and doesn't stop bugging me until I'm fuming, then he needs to step in to stop me from murdering her. In the end I have no nerves left and Natalie gets to enjoy the torture I have to endure.
"But he surely noticed you when you walked by." Nat winks at me and I hear Al stifle a laugh. He can already smell my annoyance. "I don't know, Natalie. I don't pay attention to him." I answer with a clipped tone and I can see the smirk that forms on my best friend's face. "Liar, liar, pants are on fire." She sings and the crease between my eyebrows announces how annoyed I am. "I don't care, I don't care. I can buy another pair." I retort back and she laughs, telling me I outed myself right now.
