I woke up to the sound of birds chirping. I take my phone out of my bag and hold it next to me. Then I dial Luna.

The line beeps three times but she doesn't answer, then a voice comes out of the phone.

"You have reached the mailbox of Luna Hollister, but apparently you have no WIFI, please reconnect to WIFI and call again."

No WIFI? This phone isn't that old. I sit up in bed and walk to the door. Then I walk to the elevator and arrive on the ground floor. Sondra, Blake, and Zendaya were talking (Actually, Zendaya is looking at her phone while Sondra and Blake talk.)

"Good Morning," I say

Sondra looks at me in surprise

"Oh! You're awake, did you sleep well?"

To be honest, I didn't because I was thinking about Luna, but I didn't want to say that because that would've been mega rude, so I nodded. "The best," I say.

Then Blake asks, "What do you want for breakfast? We have bacon and eggs, hot cereal, waffles, pancakes, or omelets."

"Ummm, can I have pancakes?" I say. I haven't had pancakes in forever and I really want them.

Blake nods and smiles, "Of course."

As Blake gestures for the maids to make pancakes, Zendaya gestures for me to sit down. Then she says, "Make yourself at home, anyways, look at my Instagram, Harry Styles followed me!" She shrieks.

Sondra covers her ears, "Please Zendaya, be quieter, it's the morning," Then she leans down and whispers at me, "She shrieks even louder in the afternoon," Then she cringes.

Seeing Zendaya's phone made me remember my phone. So I fished it out of my pocket and handed it to Sondra.

"It says I need WIFI, but if you guys didn't have WIFI, why can Zendaya look on her phone?" I ask

Sondra takes the phone from me and says, "the WIFI we have here is connected to the Australian Xfinity. They wouldn't work when you're trying to call someone probably across the world." Then she hands me a box, "Open it."

I take the box and open it. Inside lies a shiny iPhone. I shriek,

"You bought me a phone????" I ask

Sondra nods "I did, It's an iPhone 13, the newest one, I just got it yesterday."

"It's amazing," I say, "Now I can call Luna!"

"Yeah, about that," Sondra says, "You still can't call her."

"WHAT? WHY NOT??" I yell, I literally mean yell, I don't scream much so I even surprised myself.

Zendaya looks up from her phone too, "Because there isn't a WIFI for calling around the world."

Blake stands up, "Kenzi, honey, breakfast is ready."

I look back at the table, it's now covered in a fancy tablecloth, and there is a nice neat napkin folded and spoons and forks. There are glass cups filled with orange juice. There are also pancakes on plates with butter and syrup. Last but not least, there is a chocolate fountain with strawberries and marshmallows.

My stomach grumbles, "Wow," I say, forgetting about the phone at the time being.

We sit down and I fold my napkin neatly onto my lap. Zendaya laughs, "You're a natural," She says.

I nod and take a stack of pancakes from the serving plate and put it on my plate. Then I add a tiny piece of butter on top and spill syrup all over. Then I begin to eat. "Ohh," I thought, "This is heaven."

When I finished my pancakes and my orange juice, Zendaya motions for me to eat the strawberries and chocolate. But just when I finished dipping the chocolate and was about to put it in my mouth, my common sense came back to me. Luna, I have to find a way to get to her.

"Kenzi? Are you alright?" Sondra asks, "You look a bit drowsy,"

"I'm fine," I snap, I really don't want to tell Sondra what I've been thinking.

"Zendaya, honey, give Kenzi a tour of the house after breakfast will you?" Blake asks.

"Of course! I've always wanted to welcome my new friend to her new home!" Zendaya says.

My new friend, that sounded kind of weird because Luna was the only one that was willing to be my friend, other people think I'm a nerd. But the thought of Luna still brought tears to my eyes, "May I please be excused?" I ask

"Honey, are you sure you're alright?" Sondra asks, putting her hand on my elbow.

"Of course! I'm just a little tired, I'll sleep for a little bit more, and then we can have fun," I say, and before I wait for a response, I go back upstairs and into the bedroom.
