The flight to Australia was longer than climbing Mount Everest. I felt like I was never going to smell fresh air again. But when we finally arrive at the airport, I feel a little better.
Sondra and Blake look pretty wealthy, and it's not just looking at them, when we got outside, there was a limo parked in front of us.
"Wow," I breathe, "Your limo is amazing
"And now, it's yours too," Sondra says
When we reached Sondra and Blake's house, it took my breath away, it looked like the White House except, much much bigger. It's about 9 stories high and has a pool, right in the front yard. The pool has two of those cabanas floating on top, and in both of the cabanas are those swinging chairs dangling from the caban's ceiling. There are even slides leading to the pool. Oh wow. Next to the pool is a hot tub. Bubbling hot water. I imagine myself floating in the heat tub. Ahh. There are also cabanas on the pool's patio for you to relax in, There are tennis courts surrounding the house and a ginormous trampoline. And this is just the front yard.
"This is....Amazing," I say taking it all in.
As we reach the front door, the door creaks open and a girl that looks my age maybe a little older pops up. She has short brown hair and is wearing a lilac sundress with spiky heels,
"Mom! Dad! You're back!" She says. Then she turns to me, "Hey, you're MacKenzi right?"
I nod.
She steps onto the pool's Paddio, "I'm Zendaya. I'm so happy you're living here! Now I can finally get a buddy to hang with! Do you know how to swim? Let me show you around the house."
Sondra speaks up, "Honey, Kenzi just got here from a 24-hour trip. I'm sure she's very tired. We can show Kenzi her room, let her rest, and then you can talk show her around."
I felt like Sondra read my mind, "Thank you," I say.
As I stepped into the penthouse, the world around me seemed so quiet and loving. In the Orphanage, there's always some noise around. But the penthouse is quiet and clean. When we turn to the left, I spot an elevator. "Cool!" I say, "You have an elevator?" Blake smiles, "Yes we do," We took the elevator to floor #4 (There are 5 floors total,) and walked straight ahead, I saw a door with a sign that said "Kenzi's Bedroom" Wow. They went all out on this. When Zendaya opens the door, I gasp. The room looks more like a suite. The wall is painted galaxy and there are books on bookshelves. Smack in the middle is my bed, I mean canopy bed. The bed is light green with pillows from biggest to smallest. There's a set of journals on the shelves and a hot tub in the bathroom. It's really pretty and I couldn't believe my eyes.
"This is..Wonderful," I say, "Thank you,"
Sondra smiles at me, "Of course, sleep tight,"
I nod, "Okay,"
As I change into my frog onesies I settle into bed and Sondra comes to say good night.
Then Zendaya comes and says, "Sleep well, I really want to show you around later,"
"Okay, Night,"
"Night."
