News spread fast about me being adopted by one of the richest people in the country. Everywhere I went, people wanted me to go on a date with them, or become friends with them. I was fed up with this. I was also tired. My "friends" always came for sleepovers. Every. Single. Night. Every day, at school, I would have dark bags under my eyes and I would fall asleep during class. Mark and Zack noticed and told me to get sleep. HOW DO I GET SLEEP!!! I CANNOT SLEEP!!! I try, but the girls who come over make me stay awake until 1:00 am. Camila thinks they are my real friends and give them whatever they want. This can't keep happening. Kai has even tried to tell Alex and Camila, but I stopped him. I didn't want them to give the girls things for nothing. BUT I AM DYING! I WANT SLEEP! So today, I wouldn't let any of the girls in my room. They kept pounding on the door, but eventually gave up. FINALLY! Peace and quiet. I fell asleep and when I woke up, the dark bags under my eyes were gone. After that, the girls stopped coming over.
"Hey, Luna! You look better," Zack said
"Are you telling me that I looked terrible before?" I asked, pretending to be offended
"No, I mean you looked like you actually had slept"
"Oh yeah. Turns out all you have to do is lock the door"
Mark and Zack laughed and we headed to P.E. This unit was volleyball. We had to split into teams of four and two teams would go against each other. Mark, Zack, and I teamed up.
"We need another person," Zack stated
I spotted Trixie trying to find a group, "Hmm... Trixie! Wanna be on our team?"
"Sure"
Long story short: We won
"Can I come over to your house? I am really bored," Zack asked
"Sure. You coming, Mark?"
"Yeah"
"Trixie, do you want to come as well?" I ask her
"Really?! I mean, sure," She responds
I laugh and we go inside the limo.
"Wanna watch a movie?" I ask
"Sure," Everyone said
I lead them into the movie theater and we all get some soda, popcorn, and candy.
We watched two movies until everyone had to go. As I went to my room, I heard screaming and laughing. I see Charlie and Kai playing tag outside. I smile. Life is easy yet it is so hard.
