This is it. The day. The surgery day. I scream and thrash. Panic rises. I have goosebumps all over me. Camila puts her hand on my shoulder.
"Relax, sweetie," she says, "Everything is going to be fine."
But her voice is so shaky, I don't believe her. I gulp. Mark, Trixie, Kai, Zack, Josh, and John are all outside. The doctors pulled me onto the bed with wheels and we went into a room. A room with walls of green. I feel like I'm in a green screen room. Then, more doctors come and they're all wearing plastic green hairnets, green gloves, and green masks. They all say hi and then get to work. Camila squeezes my hand, I squeeze back. Then, the doctors come back with a needle. I cringe. They stick it into my leg and everything goes black.
Switches to Camila's P.O.V...
I cringe, looking at the fact that the doctors are going to cut open my daughter's leg is freaking me out. They first had to give her something that made her fall asleep. I did NOT want to watch, so I went outside.
"How is she doing?" Mark asked
"Yeah, is she alright?" Kai the asked
"She is asleep right now," I whispered, "The doctors are cutting her leg open."
Everyone gasps. I nod solemnly. Alex rushes over and puts his hand on my shoulders. "She'll be alright," he whispers into my ears. I bury my face in his chest. "I'll go in," Alex says and I nod. He confidently walks in. He didn't come back out. When he did, Luna was with him, she was groaning and leaning on Alex. The doctors told us that she will have to use crutches, but right now she's going to be in a wheelchair.
"LUNA!!" Everybody shouts
"Luna, how do you feel?" I ask,
"Horrible, my leg hurts a lot," she says.
"You'll get over it," Trixie says, "You're a survivor."
She nods and we push her into the limo and off we go. Back home.
