I never thought that one day, I'd lose one of only two people I love. Dying, quicker and easier than falling asleep, was how I ended up here.
I'm 12. My father died when I was little, so I didn't really get to know him. But I was really close with my mother. Then one day, she caught an illness that was going around a few years ago and died from that. I lost my mother just as my best friend, Luna, had lost her family a few days later. I guess this really does make us best friends. Luna and I were both sent into an orphanage, where we were roommates. It almost feels like college, except that it's much more damp and sad. I absolutely love books. It's so interesting to look at. I'm also good in school. I even won a full scholarship to an AMAZING private school. I actually didn't enter for it, somebody else entered me, and I didn't know until the last minute. I really wanted the scholarship, but I refused because I needed to stick with Luna. Luna isn't that great at school (don't tell her I said that), and she and I attend this public school. I know most public schools are gross and bleh, but this school is pretty good. I still feel bad for not going to the private school, but Luna was more important. I don't like communicating with other people except for teachers and of course, Luna. I'm described as shy and quiet. I don't feel that good about either of these two but of course, I can't change the way I am. I have a photographic memory meaning that whatever I see or think never goes away or forgets. I don't have a delete button, and I know you might think that it's cool, but sometimes, I wish I really did have a delete button. I don't necessarily know how I got the ability. I guess I was born with it, my mom also had a special ability, but she rarely uses it and well, she never used it on me so I don't know what it is. Anyways, My passion is reading and writing. I offered Luna an all-time favorite book of mine. She says that she'll read it, but I haven't seen her flip a page. The ONLY time I see Luna read is for class reading. Once, I gave her a book and she started reading it upside down! But I am sure that she was just pranking me. I've written so much, I can't believe that I haven't described what I look like. I have pale blonde hair. People say that my hair looks so white. But my hair is blended together by white and peach. My eyes are different. They're the same color as my bunny's eyes. Red. I was born with it. I guess that's what makes me so different from other people. My favorite color is cyan. People don't often like this color, because it reminds them of jealousy, but this color was my favorite because it reminds me of my mother's eyes.
