FAR AWAY
I used to be great, used to dine with the mighty
Don't make the mistake of taking me lightly
I may be so lost but I sure will find my way
It happens too fast this life is on a high way
I want to go home but now I'm so far awayI had those big dreams, the kind people laugh at
I had a good plan, was filled with love for the art
Along with my soul, I gave the struggle my heart
They told me the price and I thought I could pay
I can see the place but I am too far awayJust tell me the rules of the game and I will play
I'm not easy to break, I'm not a pot made of clay
I may be a man but I'm hard as a dragon to slay
I'm willing to lie down on this bed that I lay
I'm feeling the sunshine touch my face with its rays
I'm seeing my dreams now they're not far awayFact #3: I'm about 5'5 (that stuff is genetic...can't do a thing about it)
