"Humanity is each of us but who we are is our hearts" Constino

It's 'cause I have lived for many days that I have learned.
But myself, there's not much that I have.
On the surface I'm free, but I'm a slave to my thought.
I think as I'm meant to, don't do as I ought.
When I listen, I learn, but don't do as I'm taught.
The best things in life, are a heartbeat away.
Feels like all of rules, they just get in my way.
I don't filter my thoughts, I take care what I say.

In my heart I am free, it is clear oh my conscience.
I don't want to be right, if to speak is to fight.
There's a lot I don't know, but not the sound of my heartbeat.
And I know it sings true, like the birds in the morning.
Through darkness it shines, lights a path that is true.
I will follow my heart, to the edge of the horizon.
You're truly my friend, my strength, mia corazón.

Hello, 'corazón' means 'heart' in Spanish. I just used it because it sounds cooler:) This poem is pretty much self explanatory but I'm available to explain anything you don't understand . Thanks for your time, have a great day;)
