I AM
I'm a vessel, broken, in need of restoration
A task that's forgotten, I'm seeking your attention
A soul that's dead, would do with resurrection
I hope you heard what I said all the noise I've made
I'm a rock, means you cannot break me with a spadeWith those eyes, you haven't seen what I've seen
And your feet, haven't walked where I've been
What are you saying? Don't bore with your speech
Just take a seat, shut up and let me preach
I've lived, I've learned, lessons I could teachMay be I'm wrong maybe I shouldn't sing this song
If you sang the truth, for sure the venue wouldn't throng
My patience died, I fear its life wasn't long
They say 'rest in peace' what they mean is piss
They speak the words but you, they wouldn't missI'm a story, with lots of twists and verses
I grow old with every second that passes
I got wise, now I'm allergic to the curses
They are all lies, you'll soon realise
The world is cold, like a bucket full of ice
What's life? I think 'journey' will suffice
I'm a rock. I hold the land on which you walk
I'm a vessel, made of bone, flesh and muscle.
