Young & Bold (Lazia's Poem)

You jump, you hop
You leap as you hope
That the world will get better
As the future unfolds
When roses are white
And the winters are cold
I know you would smile more
When warmth is on the low
You're lulling like a song
Hope you don't wait so long
For the world of your dream
To shine brightly, not dim
You dream on your own
You're young but you're grown
And could sing through the night
As you wait for the dawn
But as the story goes
Surely, nobody knows

All through the tide
Be my friend, I'll be yours
From that huge crowd,
I'll be glad it's I you chose
Let the perfect moments
Be the ones that you froze
As you grow up
There is no map
So you just have to wander
Be it lightning, be it thunder
Hold on tight, to your wonder
Ignore those that put you under
Pals and foes, tell asunder
In the tough fights,
Be resilient
Through the long nights,
Be you patient
Know a long life, isn't fullest
As a full life, isn't longest
Heed your maama
And your daddy
All they want
Is to see you happy

Know it's alright, to be angry
But for vengeance, don't be hungry
It's a feeling that is ugly
Every moment that is passing
Know with time
There's no reversing
Waste no second on regretting
It's always your time,
When you're ready
During race time,
Be you steady
Be not afraid of the failing
If you're trying,
You sure are winning
When you're hurt,
It's fine to cry
But don't forget,
The reason why
From every hardship,
Comes a lesson
For every action,
There's a reason

As you live, you have to love
And you'll learn,
It's not a piece of cake
Be prepared for the heartache
The good to give,
And the bad to take
Some friends are real
But lots of them are fake
The bonds are still good,
Please make no mistake
Nothing ever, lasts forever
That's something to remember
Life's the wind
And we're but light feathers
It sure owes us
None of favours
For all of those you meet,
Be the flavour
Whose caring touch,
They will savour

It's your birthday!
So, be happy
It is alright, if you party
It's only your life
And nobody's
Get some ice cream
If you like it
Run around and scream
If you're tired, sit
You have a right to dream
It's your job to eat;)
Just tell me what you see
At midnight in the sky
If you hate the sea,
Above it you could fly
In each race, just go for gold
Let them know you're young
And bold

I had planned to make this the longest poem I have ever written but I fell short by about 120 words!! Anyway, it's the 2nd by word count( more than 450words) and the longest by stretch (line count). It starts with a description. Then advice and ends with the wish. I'm really sorry for the delay...it's 'cause I've had to rewrite the whole poem on my phone. Happy Birthday to you queen_lazia
