TORN PETALS
I had this dream once
I stayed afloat on ice
Then looked up at the sky
And got a teary eye
In mind I wondered, why?
I didn't want to cry
I didn't even try!
The tears of the sky
It began to fall apart
Like towers made of sand
With pillars made of ash
I'd call the builders mad
This made me sort of sad
The debris hurt so bad
I used to hear the stories,
Flowers made the clouds
They're falling hard like metals
Or cycler hitting pedals
And looking great like medals
In their matters don't meddle
Those falling torn petals
