Tell me what you saw, through your window at night
The only way to go down, is with a great fight
I can tell you want to hear, that all will be alright
Through the window you see, a city so full of lights
And when the children play, the sky is filled with kites
There's goodness in the city, just with in the right places
Also truth in their smiles, if you find the right faces
You could make it to your dreams, if you make the right choices
Tell me what you saw, when you opened your eyes
What do you think hurts more, is it truth or the lies?
Be it fools or the wise, for all death is the prize
You can see their smiles, i can hear their cries
Ignore the lights and look up, beyond the skies it's dark
Now tell me who again, for the lights we have to thank
Crazy thoughts fill the mind, that's met when blank
They live in a city called of lights...yet it's lights that they lackNOTE: the usage of commas in my poetry is strictly to guide the reader and hence is not always (generally speaking) correct. Thanks for your time...
