And so I say to you while in complete control of my mental faculties and under no duress whatsoever, ALWAYS RESUSCITATE.
Perhaps I'm a coward for fearing the unknown.
Or maybe I'm hopeful enough to always keep going.
So, when there comes a time when I need help to breathe.
Somehow I know I can endure that pain.
What I can't fathom is a leap into a void.
The inescapable fall that I cannot avoid.
That's why I will stay, I will cherish every second.
If somehow I slip, pull me up one more time.
When I fall asleep, don't let me drift away.
It's a fight till the end, don't let it be lonely.
Whisper in my ear, say good bye, I will hear you.
Pray to the maker, he's kind, he will heal you.
It helps with the pain to believe in the big plan.
There's no need to rush, my moment is approaching.
If I can't say, don't assume I am hurting.
When I have withered, if you can, keep me going.
Please do not weep while my blood is still flowing.
Do not forget, there's no pride but in living.
If my feet have gone cold, keep the rest of me warm.
Do not give up on me, as I won't give up on you.
In life there's pain but death is a stranger.
I ask you my friend, to always remember.
If sleep steals my breath, always resuscitate me.
