The corridors were silent dahil nasa klase na ang mga estudiyante.

It's amazing how I've never been here but seems like I've been here. Kabisado ko pa rin kasi ang lahat and it feels weird.

I climbed up the stairs dahil exclusively for academy personnel lang ang paternoster elevator nila. It's kinda weird actually. It's like a box with one open side, continuous ang galaw nito so kailangan mong tiyempuhan gaya ng escalator.

If I was given the chance to ride that elevator, I would gladly decline.

It's not branded as the most dangerous lift if it didn't cost a few riders their limbs or life!

Upon reaching the last floor of the tower, I saw the familiar door of his office. It's really odd how everything is familiar.

That door makes my blood boil, lalo na ang lalaking nakaupo sa opisinang iyon.

Headmaster Raven, the second son of the former headmaster. I know how he secured the position. Hindi naman talaga siya ang nakatakdang umangkin sa posisyon niya ngayon dahil para ito sa mas matanda niyang kapatid.

But due to some pulling of strings that he did, the position is now in his possession. Secured.

At dahil doon, wala akong ni katiting na respeto sa kaniya.

I opened the door, skipping the "please knock first" part.

"Alessandra?" Gulat na pahayag ng lalaking nakaupo ngayon sa upuan ng punong maestro ng paaralan. Napatayo rin ang kausap nitong lalaki. His secretary.

More like right hand man.

"Alexandra." I corrected him as I sat down and crossed my legs and leaned back on the chair.

"You've mistaken, my name is Alexandra. I'm Alessandra's twin sister." I'm a professional liar in this world.

Well, I look like Sandra, but my appearance is different from her appearance back then.

"I was looking for her and found out that she was studying here. It turned out I arrived very late." I lied. Kaka-Among Us ko yata to kaya nahasa ako sa pagsisinungaling.

"Gusto mo bang pumunta sa puntod niya?" The headmaster asked in a sympathetic tone pero hindi nakatakas sa paningin ko ang pagbalatay ng takot sa mukha niya kaninang makita ako.

The secretary stood up behind me and eyed me like he was scanning my soul.

He had always weirded me out.

Mas may takot pa ako sa kaniya kesa sa amo niya!

"I've been there already. I came here to apply for the warriors scholarship." I said.

I never thought I could impress myself but I just did.

But he doesn't look quite good with what I just said. He's measuring me kaya tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. Don't look at me like that sir, I might punch you.

"I'm sorry but we don't have that kind of scholarship." He said, locking me out of the walls of the school. It seems like he decided I was an enemy. He must be threatened. Why would he be?

"But your announcement board says you have one." I rebutted. Napadaan kasi ako doon kanina kaya nakita ko lahat ng possible scholarships na pwede kong pasukin.

"Slots are full. I'm sorry, but you can't stay here." He said, obviously loosing his cool.

"I can clearly see that you don't want me here. Why is that?" I asked, using a playful tone. Why is he losing his temper over a scholarship application?
