Second day.

Alex woke up early as usual. But before going out, she posted the adjusted schedule of cooking and dishes. Hindi siya papayag na puro siya lang.

Huh! Anong akala nila sa akin? Yaya?!

Bahala silang magluto ng pagkain nila!

She went for laps around the lake which could be hundreds of meters a lap. It's smaller than the field in the academy so she went for a dozen more.

By the time Alex finished, Rod had just arrived. Tahimik itong tumakbo palibot sa lawa habang ang dalaga ay nasa isang gilid at nag-i-stretch.

The same happened the next day. This time Inigo and Seth joined. The next day, everyone else joined.

She have no complaints since ginagawa rin naman nila ang kanilang duty. Except the only cooks were her and the new guy, Maro.

Maro is a very silent guy, but instead of being like the challenging Seth, he was kind and shy.

The other guy was Eric. He's boastful, but not as much as Kyle.

Napagkasunduan ng dalawa that Alex will do breakfast and dinner while lunch is his para hindi na kailangan pang bumalik ni Alex habang nagsasanay ng mahika.

She really pushed it hard until Lloyd couldn't argue back.

After preparing breakfast she'd take a bath, dress up, go to the forest, and practice magic.

But this day is different. The fifth day.

The others were, like usual, training with the prince. This was harsher than their usual training in the academy as they'd sometimes go one against two or more. Lloyd said it is to prepare them for the same scenario of when they're alone.

For Inigo, Aeron, and Rod. Fighting against three was easy. But if among those three is Alex...

Rod and Aeron knew it'd still be hard even if they use their magic, there's still a huge chance that Alex could beat them. That's how highly they think of her.

So how is it that she's not included in their training?

"Lloyd." Aeron called the prince.

"You should let Alex join us." What he said caught the attention of the others. Rod came to second his suggestion.

"But she's a lady." Lloyd tried to deny them.

"She's a fighter." Aeron answered.

"Believe me. She won against the two of us in a physical battle." Rod added.

Physical battle? Lloyd asked himself.

It's an amazing feat in itself!

"The game is greatly magic-dependent. Will sh—"

Another explosion happened, prompting others to run to that direction. And what they saw next was one thing they'd never forget.

Alex fell from the highest point of the trees, her dress flowing gracefully as she plunged down. As graceful and beautiful her form was, her eyes screamed danger.
