"It tastes metallic."

"How so?"

"That's how they describe it and it's what comes to mind when I taste blood."

The silence enveloped us, and it was a little awkward because of what he did. It isn't really that big of a deal, but it was Seth who did it! Seth!

And I was so icky because of my sweat! Who would dare touch my face with my condition? Him!

"How are you feeling?" He asked and I couldn't help but be nervous because of his gentle tone. It's my first time hearing him like this.

I don't want this. I can't!

But in the back of my mind, I felt happy.

"Better." Was the only answer I could give. I had already closed my eyes in order not to meet his. My heart is already pounding fast, I can't let myself be drowned.

He wasn't looking at me. He was focused at something else. Then he placed my head down to the ground, as if he was placing an antique vase for display.

I felt the soft fabric on the back of my head and noticed just then that he was only wearing his shirt. He used his jacket to give me a pillow.

The ground was hard and it was a little painful to the skin how the stones leave dents on my skin or clash against my bones.

He didn't say anything but I could feel the shift of the atmosphere. I sighed.

"Rest for today. I'll lead." He stated with his usual voice but there was an extra iciness to it. One that made my heart leap.

This is bad.

I placed my arm to cover my eyes as I heard his footsteps growing more and more faint while my heartbeat grew louder and louder.

"How is she?" Tanong nina Inigo noong makalabas sa kuweba si Seth. He threw a simple gaze at them before walking away.

"Let her rest. Inigo and Kyle stays. The others follow me." He ordered and started running.

Inigo and Kyle stayed while the other two followed him without a word of complain.

And for the rest of the morning, they had been hunting for rats and luckily caught some pigs too. They can't get it off of their heads, the terms used by Alex.

It's a little funny but it got stuck in their head.

They had also hunted for food. They caught a boar on their way back.
