It was obvious that the prince has grown into liking Alex, he was always with her and did not entertain any other woman in a vast room filled of them.

Every woman started hating her and all the men started noticing Alex, eventually making a sin against the prince for actually liking the lady he's so fond of.

And for some inexplicable reason, a few men were aggrieved of what seems to be a blooming relationship between the two. One particular person left the party early to avoid losing his inhibitions.

He was mad and angry seeing her smile for the prince, seeing them look very well together, hearing others complement the tandem. He hated it for no reason.

He hates it.

Soon enough, he started hating the prince and then Alex...

And that hate lingered on.

"Excuse me for a while, Prince Charles." Alex tried to rid herself of the prince.

"Nature's call." She answered only to receive a deeper frown. Right, hindi niya alam ang ibig sabihin non.

"Why don't you entertain the others while I'm gone, your highness? They've been very eager for your presence."

"Oh, you're right. How very inconsiderate of me. Very well." There was disappointment in his eyes but he knew the responsibility he holds with his title.

He left me alone and just then did I breath out a sigh.

I really need a breather.

I didn't bother to look for the others dahil baka nakikipagsayaw sila sa ibang kababaihan. They might just find their match here.

I walked out of the room, grabbing a glass of red wine.

I'm gonna need some guts searching the palace without permission.

When I was finally out, I walked in the hall like I was thinking, sipping on my wine.

There were guards everywhere so I couldn't roam around freely. With that taken into account, I gazed at the paintings hanged along the hallways of the grand place.

I accidentally got lost because I was so focused on the artworks. I found a few of them oddly familiar until I saw another painting of blue, green, and gray.

Pinakatitigan ko ang imahe ng isang pamilyar na lugar, it was the ruins in the forest. But it was also a copy of the painting I saw in the town hall.

I hid behind a pillar and concealed myself.

"The fourth, Lord Gregory. I want the fourth." One man said. I peeked and saw a tall man, he was wearing a dark cape with his hair almost reaching his shoulder though I'm positive it was a man.

Wait...

This is familiar.

"Ni hindi niyo pa nga nakukuha ang mga nasa paaralan, ngayo'y nais mong ibigay ko sa 'yo ang huli?" Very familiar.

"He does not need the three, they're but lies. I need the fourth!" The long-haired guy hissed, obviously losing patience.

"At ano naman ang maibibigay ninyo sa akin?" The other man said, from his voice I hear old age and authority.

It's Lord Gregory and Malrick!

So it wasn't a memory but a foretelling.
