"About our behavior..." Clyde said and paused.

"The headmaster agreed." Singit ni Seth kaya natigil ako sa paghiwa ng karne.

"He better does." I answered as I continued to cut the steak and ate it. Then I looked at Clyde.

"Continue." I said and continued to slice on the steak.

"We may have done something serious but it was mandated by the Headmaster." George said.

"Does that mean you are more of a follower than a leader?"

"Yes."

"Do you know-"

"Miss Alex, the Headmaster asks you to join him." The secretary interrupted me from talking. I looked at the headmaster who was smiling at me so I smiled back.

My sweetest...

"If you'll excuse me, the raven asks for the phoenix." I said and followed the secretary towards the table in front.

There was a vacant seat beside him at doon ako pinaupo.

"I heard you were injured badly from this morning, but seeing you so lively makes me doubt it." He said and smiled. Aba! Kung plastikan lang ang gusto mo, makakasabay ako. Hindi ko lang alam kung makasasabay ka.

"The healer was very good I hope you give her a raise. Baka kasi kailangan mo ng mas malaking halaga para mahawakan mo sila (sa leeg)." I answered. I have my way with words.

"I know, Headmaster. After all, I am a witness to how much you valued my sister. That must also go with your servants." I said in a low voice, enough for him to hear. I smiled at him as I looked at his angry face but he immediately smiled at me.

"You really know me well. Why aren't you eating? I called you to join me for lunch after all." He said.

"Oh, thank you for the invitation but I ate enough. If there is nothing else, I want to talk with my...friends." I said and stood up.

"Please, at least give me some face." He asked kaya napatingin ako sa pagkain and then back to him.

"This is enough. Thank you for your concern." I said and picked up a piece of grape at saka ito isinubo. He smiled at me so I smiled back before leaving the table.

My smile vanished as I walked back to my seat. I sat and calmly held my glass of water.

I moved my hair to my left to cover most of my face then I faced Seth to make my angle good.

When I was sure na hindi na niya kita ang mukha ko ay umakto akong umiinom pero pagbaba ng baso ay kasama na doon ang ubas.

Pagtingin sa mga kasama ko ay nandidiri ang mga tingin nila sa akin.

"Please don't look at me like that. I'd rather look disgusting than die." Sabi ko. It's true naman.

"Where was I earlier?" I asked as I searched asked a servant for a bottle of milk. She even frowned at my order pero sumunod din naman siya.

"Alex, you're poisoned?" Seth asked at hinawakan ang palapulsuhan ko.

"He'd have to try harder so act normal." I hissed. Sakto namang dumating ang pinakuha kong gatas.

How did he even know?

"Thank you." I said at hinawakan ang baso gamit ang kaliwang kamay ko. I drank the milk in gulps before it was emptied.

"It would be your choice if you continue following that inhumane man." I said before standing up. I swayed and almost lost balance. But I winked at them to say that it's an act. Para magmukhang normal ang lahat.
