I joined the others on lunch, silently eating in a distance while also listening to them and watching Eric wield his magic.

He was making weapons for everyone. Swords, knives, bow and arrow.

"How about you Miss Alex? What weapon shall I make for you?" He asked. Actually, Eric could be mistaken as a casanova because of his friendly nature. He's very friendly that it makes him look like he's flirting. Pero may inis yata ito sa akin. Madalas ko kasing masama ang tingin sa akin. Lalo na kapag hindi nasusunod ng gusto niya.

Kung hindi ako ang kaharap niya, para siyang maamong aso. Tapos kapag ako na ang kaharap, biglang natahol.

"Just conserve your energy. We might meet a lot of players after this hour." Sagot ko at tumayo na bago naghugas ng kamay sa ilog.

"It seems that we still have our natural needs in here. With that taken into account, water would be the priority. If a team does not have anyone who can produce water, this long river will be a common place for everyone. That means more people will come. Let's split up along the river and stay up and hidden." I mandated, standing up.

"Wouldn't it be better if we stay together?" Clyde asked.

"This is the first day, it means there are still a lot of players roaming around without their teammates. It's a time for picking up points one by one. Tomorrow will begin the team fights. The last day is the final battle. We split up for today, just along the river. We'll gather here tomorrow morning." I answered his question while braiding my hair. I don't want it flying around when I get into action.

"Hindi ba dapat mamayang gabi tayo magsama-sama ulit?" Stanley followed up.

"May I ask why?" Taas kilay kong tanong pabalik.

"Because we have to rest." Kyle answered, pinapantayan ang pagtaas kilay ko.

I clicked my tongue, fixing my braid into a bun that I tied using a lasso.

"That's what everyone thinks. So shouldn't that be the best time for an ambush? They are the least wary at night because they think everyone is resting." I massaged my shoulders dahil nangalay ito sa pag-aayos ko ng buhok.

"Don't worry, I'll place all of you where you have sight of the others so you can team up when needed. I'll stay here at the center so I won't take much time if you need help."

"Right, how do you always know where we are?" Eric asked, innocently.

"My magic. Now!" Sagot ko at mabilis na pinutol ang itatanong sana niya.

"Maro, Rod, Clyde, Inigo and Eric. Let's go upstream." I mandated and started to walk upstream.

Sumunod rin naman sila sa akin. We walked a few meters and I checked if I could still see the others. I decided which points they'll stay.

"First drop. Eric. Tumayo ka muna doon. Saka ka na magtago kapag pabalik na ako." Sabi ko at iniwan na namin siya doon. We stopped at the farthest place where we could still see Eric, and dropped Rod there.

This is to maximize our scope.

We continued until we reached the farthest point we could go.

"You can hide now." I told Clyde and turned on my heels pero natigil rin noong tawagin niya ako.

"Alex."

"If you're going to ask about something personal, keep it and ask me once we're out." I cut him off and started to walk away.

It's about the Crown Prince asking for my hand, the second prince who seems to have the same relationship with me, then there's the rumored relationship with Seth. I know he's only protecting his friend, pero masakit pa rin na pagdudahan ka. I admit na mediyo makalat ako, pero hindi naman ako ganong uri ng babae.
