Chapter 2

Aug. 2012

Namjoon and Winter stayed in touch as much as they could, even with his friends' help, it was hard, but they got some time together, even if it was a day with him and his friends, which she got to know all six of them over the summer. She even tried to help them out with what she was able to do on the side as they were in trainee mode.

Soon, it was the start of her senior year. She was excited to start and finish school in Korea, until one night, she felt something wasn't right. She checked everything, making sure that she wasn't forgetting anything, but it wasn't her. It was the vibe in the home.

She was soon called to dinner, and her parents were at the table with dinner out for them to eat. Joey informed them that sadly, he was no longer needed that they could return home to America. His boss told him that he had two choices. Either they can leave within the next month, or wait for Winter to finish school, and then go home when she's graduated in May. She knew... this was what it was.

They talked about maybe he could stay to supervise the new team and train them on what he has been doing for the past 4 years. On the other hand, Winter could go back home, be with her friends, and graduate with her class; which she didn't have any. She never stayed in touch with any of them since they moved here.

Personally, Winter didn't want to go back, as Monica agreed. There were a lot of pros and cons. If she went back, she might have to retake some classes over again or could finish her Senior year here instead. If they carried her credits over from KIS, would they count?

Joey finally agreed and would tell his boss in the morning that they would love to stay just for Winter to finish school, and then go home.

Later that night, Winter sat on her bed, with her laptop open and phone in hand. She wasn't sure if she should tell Namjoon that at the end of her senior year in May, she was moving back to America, or not tell him anything about it. She wanted him to focus on his dance and singing with his friends, not on her having to leave nine months from now. She closed her laptop, turned off her phone, and decided to go take a hot bubble bath instead.

~*~*~*~

On the first day of school in her senior year, she was ready for school, grabbed some breakfast, and headed out for the bus that takes her to school since her dad needed the car for work She got on the bus and realized that Namjoon wouldn't be there anymore. She frowns as she sits down and looks out the window of the bus wondering how she was going to go on with her day without her BFF greeting her or being there.

After she got to the school, she gets off the bus with the other kids, and as she was headed in, she heard a voice.

"You didn't think I wouldn't be here to make sure that you started your first day of the senior year off right?"

She turns around and saw Namjoon with his friends all dressed in black and white, to which she smiled. She goes over and hugs him as he hugs her back before they share a kiss.

"I didn't know if you were going to show up, or not at all. If not... I would just act like normal," she told him.

"Nae sujub-eun gyeoul kkoch?" he asked softly. (My shy winter flower).

She smiled at her nickname, "You could say that."

"Well, it's not going to happen. You are a Senior now. You and the rest of the Seniors rule this school. Teach these kids the right way." He whispers, "If anyone causes you problems, you tell me okay."
