After the meeting, the staff dispersed to their various departments. Xingsi stayed back to collect the notes from Meifang. He was exhausting at this point and was thinking of going home early.

"Here are the notes."

Xingsi looked up. "Thank you."

"You're sweating and your face is pale."

"Oh..." Xingsi wiped his forehead. He was a little surprised to see feel the wetness on his forehead. Meifang was right. "I'm okay."

"I think you should take some medicine and supplements," Meifang suggested.

"I will. Thank you," Xingsi said. He watched Meifang turn to leave but a thought struck his mind. The man person who was watching him during the window resembled the young man he'd met in the elevator. He had to confirm what he was doing here. He called her back.

"Meifang."

"Yes director."

"Did you see the young student standing at the window?" Xingsi pointed in the direction of the glass window.

Meifang shook her head. "Yes. Why do you ask?"

"Um... Nothing. I just wanted to know what he wanted."

"Okay. He came to inquire about our wedding services. Licheng gave him the details of everything I think."

"Okay. Is he getting married?" Xingsi asked.

"No he said his mother is getting married."

"Okay. Thanks for the information."

It was few minutes past three when Xingsi arrived at the apartment he shared with Muren and Licheng. He left the office after informing Licheng of his health. Licheng suggested he stopped by the pharmacist store to buy some medicine and supplements for a quick recovery which Xingsi did.

He parked his bike at the usual spot and took the apartment keys from his pocket. He felt the hairs in his back stand as if someone was looking at him. He turned slowly and looked around the garden area but he saw nobody. Maybe the fever was affecting his mental state. He unlocked the door and stepped in.

Xingsi went straight to the refrigerator and took a bottled water. He poles the pills in his palm and swallowed, then he gulped down water. He went to his room and slowly undressed. He would love to take a shower but his body was too sensitive because of the fever. He decided to do that after he had taken a short nap. He wore a short T-shirt and short and laid down on the bed.

The wedding preparation for a couple who had signed up with The Muse was in two days, on the 10th. They were a gay couple, both in their twenties. Xingsi had been moved when they shared their love story and especially how both their families were supportive of him. They had requested for a semi quiet wedding with about a hundred guests. Xingsi wanted to make it as perfect as possible.

As he laid on the bed, he pondered about his love life. He had openly declared his status when he was in high school and be received lots of hate then. But lately the society has become more open accepting of people sexual orientation and Xingsi found it liberating. Even his coworkers knew he was gay and no one had any problems with him.

He took his phone and began to scroll up a wedding flower page. There were photos of udifferent types of floral settings. Xingsi smiled as he took in the aesthetics of flowers. He secretly wished he could fall in love some day and even imagined having a small wedding. It would be awesome if it ever happened.

He really wasn't too sure about his future. Every one accepted him for who he is except one person, his father. Xingsi inhaled deeply. He had a good relationship with his father but he managed to hide his sexuality from him for the past fifteen years. His father was a traditional man. He still upheld old values of a man strictly having a wife or two and raising kids. Now he was getting older, he knew his father will begin to demand for a wife and grand children.

Xingsi dropped his phone on the side table and faced the wall. The medicine was taking a toll on his body. He stopped thinking and soon slipped into a deep sleep.

A dark shadow loomed over the window blocking the sun rays piercing through the glass window. Fu Yongjie stood in the bushes glaring at Xingsi.

He pulled the face mask off his nose and mouth and cracked a cunning smile.

"Found you," he whispered.
