Three years later
The jewellery shop had different types of bracelets, from silver, diamond and golden designs. Xingsi didn't know which one to pick. Yongjie had finished one of the toughest medical examination and results showed that he passed. He was rated top ten best students. Xingsi had fixed a dinner date for tomorrow night and wanted to surprise Yongjie with a gift.
After much deliberation, he finally picked a silver bracelet that had two heart shape carved out on two ends. Xingsi quickly paid for it and left.
Getting home he found Licheng working on some documents. Xingsi placed the jewelry bag on the table and sat close to Licheng.
"You took work home?"
"Ah, yes I'm trying to get this customer to sign up with our company for his wedding."
"What's the problem? Why is he not signing?"
"You see, he is not based in Taiwan. And he is getting married to his long-term boyfriend. He doesn't want to involve his family in the wedding."
"He's probably having the wedding blues," Xingsi suggested.
Licheng laughed. "No, he feels his family is not too accepting of his choices."
"Oh..." Xingi's eyes widened. "So when is he coming to Taiwan."
"In a few days."
Xingsi shook his head. "It's a busy month as usual. Well goodluck with him." He stood up and picked the jewelry bag.
"You went shopping?"
"No I just got a gift for Yongjie, he aced his exams," Xingsi said.
"Oh that's nice. We should celebrate in a bigger way. Like go the club and party. Xiao Ye, we need it."
"You know Yongjie is studious. He does not like to party, Licheng." Licheng laughed as Xingsi made his way towards his room.
"We can convince him!"
"Licheng, you shouldn't be thinking about partying right now. Let's get the workload off our necks first, maybe we can take two days off."
"Ahh..." Licheng exhaled. "I can't wait."
Once Xingsi was in the comfort of his room, he unbuttoned his shirt, peeled it off his back and took off his trousers. Wearing glasses only a sexy red boxer, Xingsi picked his phone and dialed Yongjie's number on facetime.
Xingsi sat on the bed waiting. In about a minute, the call connected. Yongjie's cute face came up on the phone screen. Xingsi smiled immediately.
"What are you doing?"
Yongjie whose head was on his desk, blinked several times like a puppy in need of cuddles.
"I miss you," Yongjie pouted.
"I know my love. You're not asleep yet?"
Yongjie shook his head. "No, I just have this essay to complete."
"Hope you're preparing for tomorrow,"
"What's happening tomorrow?" Yongjie glared at Xingsi through the screen.
"Our dinner date. A very special date."
Yongjie smiled warmly. "What are you celebrating?"
"You will know when you come dearie."
Yongjie chuckled. "But you're busy in your work, how do you have time to plan a dinner date."
"It's been like a month since we got together."
"I know," Yongjie frowned. "I'm sorry I couldn't bring you to my place because of my step dad. I don't know why he refused to accept us."
"Don't worry. He will. It might only take time."
"Are you naked down there?"
"No why?" Xingsi turned his phone to show Yongjie his red short.
All Yongjie could see was the bulging middle. "Hmm, so sexy and inviting..."
Xingsi smiled and looked away. "Don't be naughty. I will text you the address for where we are meeting now."
"Okay."
"Take care dear. Love you."
Xingsi disconnected the call and quickly sent Yongjie the address, where they will be meeting tomorrow. He laid his head on the pillow and almost began to imagine how perfect tomorrow was going to be. He planned on doing more than giving Yongjie a bracelet. Maybe he wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do or if it was the right time.
He just needed to wait for tomorrow's night.
