Later in the evening Xingsi took a walk with Yongjie down the seaside. It had been a beautiful weekend for him especially after spending quality time with Yongjie. He learned so much about Yongjie these few days they had been together and he was glad Yongjie willingly opened up to him.

The first thing Xingsi noted was that Yongjie had a caring heart. Behind his mean face and serious looks, Yongjie was a lovable guy. He had not dated seriously with anyone before. Aside from meeting with his course mates to read, he hardly ever went on dates or parties.

Xingsi also noticed Yongjie was the type to give up easily. If he genuinely wanted something he worked hard to get it. Xingsi wished to learn that from the younger man.

Both men were shirtless sitting on the sand. The rays of the afternoon sun gradually warmed up the beach sand and the ocean. Yongjie had a bottle of sunscreen in his hand. He'd already applied some on his chest and arms and moved to rub some on Xingi's body.

"Is the sunscreen environment friend?" Xingsi asked.

"Yes." Yongjie replied as he massaged the creamy content of the bottle on Xingsi's shoulders and back.

"How is your mom?" Xingsi asked relaxing into the younger man's warmth.

"She is fine."

"I should come say hello to her one of this days."

"Mm," Yongjie nodded.

"And your step dad."

Yongjie glared at Xingsi for a moment. "You don't have to meet him."

"Why?" Xingsi looked worried. He placed his hand on Yongjie's shoulder.

Fu Yongjie looked away in distant thought. The sound of ocean waves roved around them.

Xingsi swallowed. "I understand that look in your eyes. Is he hateful towards you for being gay?"

Yongjie nodded.

Xingsi breathed. "Don't let it bother you, as long as what we have for each other is real we don't need to worry about people's opinions."

"You're right." Yongjie's attention went to Xingsi's chest. He rubbed in more sunscreen cream slowly, his fingers tickled Xingsi's nipples.

Xingsi flinched at the touch. He suddenly felt shy and looked away, trying not to smile.

"I didn't want the weekend to end," Yongjie said.

"Me too."

Xingsi blinked as the younger man leaned closer for a kiss. At the close moment, Xingsi smiled and stood up. He ran towards the beach and started playing with the water.

Yongjie joined him, he tried to pull Xingsi from the back so get a kiss but Xingsi kept slipping away from his grip.

Yongjie laughed out as he chased his lover around the beach.

When Yongjie got back home, it was almost few minutes to nine in the evening. His mother was already waiting for him.

"Where were you all weekend?" She asked immediately she entered Yongjie's room.

Yongjie dropped his bag on the bed and faced his mom.
"With my boyfriend."

"Oh, you're spending time with him lately."

"I'm dating Xingsi."

Yongjie's mom rushed to place her finger against her son's mouth. "Shhh, I told you not mention his name so loudly when your step father is at home."

"Mom? It's your position to tell him the reality of who I am, not hide from him."

"He has a bad temper, huh. And he's too conservative. How am I supposed to tell him that you're gay?"

"If you don't do it, I will."

"Fu Yongjie!"

"Mom?"

"Okay. I will talk to him about it. But please don't bring Xingsi to the house unannounced again. I don't want you getting into trouble."

Yongjie nodded. He watched his mom walk out of his room. He took his clothes off and laid on bed. A smile danced on his lips as he recalled the beautiful moments he spent with Xingsi.

He dipped his hand under his pillow and took his diary. The new one his mom had given to him. He hadn't written anything in the diary yet. He opened to the middle and picked his pen.

In no time he began to scribble thoughts and wishes as they flowed from his heart to his fingers.
