A radiant Xingsi arrived at his workplace looking bright and cheerful. His colleagues from his department welcomed him and wished him a warm and safe recovery. He carried out his duties for the day and since it was Friday he quickly wrapped up the activities of the previous days he missed and submitted a proposal to the CEO.

He wanted to start an anniversary reminder in form of text message where they would send their customers a message of congratulations on their wedding anniversaries. Xingsi hoped it would be approved soon.

The weather gradually warmed up at noon. Xingsi texted Yongjie asking him where he was. Yongjie replied saying he was in the library. He had a test and wanted to prepare for it.

During lunch break, Xingsi arrived at the library. He hadn't informed Yongjie he was coming. He wanted to surprise him. He made his way up the stairs where few students were seated. He spotted Yongjie at the end of the row, next to the bright glass window.

Xingsi smiled.

He met Yongjie dozing quietly, his head resting on his palms. Xingsi extended his right hand and slowly moved strands of hair away from his forehead. His fingers grazed Yongjie's cheek and down his neckline. Xingsi noticed Yongjie's shirt was missing some buttons.

Yongjie flinched from the touch and slowly opened his eyes. He stretched his arms and looked at the young handsome man standing beside him.

"How are you?" Xingsi smiled disarming the younger man.

Yongjie wiped his eyes. "Xingsi? When did you come?"

"Not too long ago."

"I can't believe you came here."

Xingsi offered a sexy smile. "Let's talk outside."

"Mm," Yongjie nodded.

Xingsi smiled as he noticed Yongjie was still dazed by his presence. He held Yongjie and pulled him up. "Let's go outside and talk."

Outside the library were fresh gardens and green gardens. The silence was calming. The two men took a walk down the grassy path.

"Your shirt, is missing two buttons." Xingsi said. "Where did you drop them?"

"Err..."

"Did something happen?"

Yongjie looked away.

"Fu Yongjie? What did you do?"

"Xingsi I can't lie to you."

"I know," Xingsi looked worried.

"Promise not to react badly."

"I have to know what you did before I can even react," Xingsi said seriously.

"I tracked your ex..."

Xingsi eyes darted to and fro, studying Yongjie closely. He raised his eyebrows. "And?"

"And I hit him when I stopped him in a dark corner."

"Fu Yongjie, you can't go hitting people like that. You know that."

"He deserved it. He could have done this to anyone. I couldn't just let him go free."

"Yongjie, I appreciate you looking out for me but don't go hitting people, at this point you should let the right authorities handle this."

Yongjie nodded slightly. Xingsi knew he must be feeling bad after scolding him.

"I will return back to the office, while you finish your studies. Okay?"

"Okay."

Xingsi turned around and began to walk back the other way. He felt two strong arms hug him from behind.

"I'm not only looking out for you, I love you Xingsi. I will do anything to protect you."

Xingsi blinked several times. He could feel the warm breath as Yongjie spoke in his neck.

"Yongjie."

"I just wanted to teach him a lesson so he doesn't mess with you in the future."

Xingsi let out a chuckle. He turned and faced Yongjie. "You sound so tough for a twenty year old."

Yongjie smiled. "I'm tougher than you think."

Xingsi breathed. "Fu Yongjie, I have heard what you said. I'm not angry. Part of me is happy he was taught a lesson. I also learned my lesson." Xingsi placed his hand on Yongjie shoulder. "I don't want you getting into trouble because of me."

"I promise I won't get into trouble."
