Yongjie quietly slipped out of Xingsi's room as soon as he fell asleep. He met Licheng in the sitting room already waiting.

"Thanks for coming by kid," Licheng said as he ran his right hand over his head. "Xingsi has no idea I was the one that called you. He was devastated by that Steven guy, I couldn't bear to see him in pain and had to delete his number from his phone."

"I'm glad you called me. If there's any way I can help Xingsi I will do that."

"How's he now?"

"He is asleep," Yongjie glanced at his the time on his phone screen. "I have to go. I have classes right now. But I will check back later."

"No problem," Licheng smiled as he held out his hand for a handshake. "Can I trust you not to hurt Xingsi?"

Yongjie eyed Licheng for a second. Why would he want to hurt the only man he loved. Of course, he will make Xingsi the happiest man in the world. He shook Licheng's hand wholeheartedly. "I will never hurt Xingsi."

Yongjie headed to the door. He paused and turned around. "What about your boyfriend?"

"Ah you mean Muren," Licheng blushed. "Is it obvious that we are boyfriends?"

Yongjie chuckled. "Very obvious."

"Um... he went to see a client, he supposed to be back by now."

Yongjie nodded. "You're lucky to have him."

"Really! I mean thank you," Licheng scratched his forehead. He opened the door and watched Yongjie leave the apartment, a smile danced on his lips.

At the library, Yongjie found himself not concentrating on his books. The image of Xingsi naked in the bathroom, cool water trickling down his smooth skin haunted his memories. His feelings for this man was overwhelming. He had never felt a sense of strong connection to anyone like Xingsi.

While seated at a corner in the library, Yongjie felt Xingsi was nearby, he could see him smile warmly. Who would want to hurt Xingsi?

Now that he was restless he recalled Xingsi's ex and what he did. One thing was for sure, if Steven gets away with what he did, he would probably repeat it and hurt someone else. Yongjie quickly took his phone and placed a call to Licheng.

"Any information about that Steven guy?" he asked.

"Yes I could use the tracking app on Xingsi's phone to find out which hotel they were in?"

"What was the name of the gym, I can't remember?"

"Upstrong Gym just beside our office."

"Ok," Yongjie twitched his jaw. "You find the name of the hotel while I check the gym."

"No problem."
