It was February 14th, the day fixed for the wedding of Qinxiang, Yongjie's mom and Hong Chen. The wedding hall had been fully decorated by the wedding staff from The Muse. The hall came alive with yellow roses and a blend of white and green flowers. Qinxiang absolutely loved it.

After the said their vows the couple moved to the bouquet hall for the reception. They were served cakes and wine and the whole family cheered for her.

Yongjie sat at a corner sipping wine. He stayed out of the sight of his relatives and made sure to avoid any random discussions with them. Obviously they were only to eat and drink and probably confirm that mom was actually getting married.

Yongjie worried about how he was going to cope with a new father figure in his life. He would prefer to refer to the man as his mother's husband instead of a step father or any label that could distort his mind.

The images of Xingsi siting behind his desk, working tirelessly to make other people's dreams come true flashed through his mind.  Lately Yongjie saw no happiness in his mother's life after two failed marriages. He didn't even know his real father, he had no idea if he was alive or dead. Yongjie gulped down the alcoholic contents in the cup and refilled it.

He looked at the centre of the hall and saw the smiles on his mom's face. She had always wished to have a proper wedding and thanks to Xingsi and his team, she got her wish fulfilled.

Will Xingsi grant his own wish too? Can he accept him as he was without questions?
Yongjie leaned his head on the table and within seconds he dozed off.

A tap on his shoulder woke him up.

"Hey, are you okay?"

Yongjie opened his eyes slowly. At first he thought he was dreaming when the silhouette of Xingsi came to view. He wiped his eyes and raised his body from the table.

"You've been sleeping for hours, and we're trying to clear the hall," Xingsi said.

"Oh," Yongjie watched as Xingsi moved some decorations into the office mini van.

"You look like you didn't enjoy yourself at the wedding."

'It's not my wedding."

Xingsi smiled. When he finished packing the things up, the driver mounted the mini van and drove off.

"I came with my bike, do you want me to give you a ride."

"Yes," Yongjie nodded.

Xingsi walked to the spot where his bike was parked. He handed Yongjie a helmet as he wore another one over his head. He sat in and Yongjie sat beside him.

"My friends and I are having a Valentine night out, you can join us if you want."

"Only if you want me to,"

"Yes I want you to."

Yongjie smiled. "Okay.
