I awoke in my bed, hooked up to the monitors and of course the usual IV drip... most likely filled with a liquid to keep me hydrated.
"How.." I spoke groggily, Nurse Choi came to my side, handing me a cup of ice chips to suck on.
"Good morning, have a nice nap?" She smiled. I let the ice melt in my mouth and I swallowed, enjoying the cool feeling.
"How long... what happened?" I asked, confused.
"You worked yourself up, it's okay though. You've been out since last night only. Dr. Kwon is going over your tests right now." She explained.
"Oh no... is he... is he not going to let me go out anymore?" I asked her, worried. I liked being able to go out. I wanted to go out more.
"I'm not sure Princess, it's what ever he feels is best for you. You're getting better but you're not there yet. He and the others solved one problem but you still have things working against you." Nurse Choi explained more. I listened, she was right and I knew that. I could only hope this wasn't anything serious.

"How are you feeling?" Dr. Kwon asked when he came back that afternoon.
"I'm feeling... I don't know. Fine but worried? Or... just... I don't want to be locked up in here.. I want to be able to go out." I said to him. He patted my head and smiled.
"Of course you do. But, I'm going to need you to stay here for a little longer. We've moving the marrow transplant up to tomorrow morning. We have what we need, once you recover we'll see about you getting some time outside." He said.
"But.. I'll be stuck in here for six weeks then? That's... no.. I don't" I tried to insist.
"Princess, we have to make sure the surgery goes well. You know you'll be a bit weak after, I'll have Sowon get your wheelchair and she can take you outside. Sound good?" He asked.
"I don't have a choice?" I asked in response.
"Well, let's see how things go first." was his reply. I sighed and admitted defeat for now. I really didn't want to be stuck here again. Later on in the evening, Jin came to see me.
"Hey there Princess." He said softly as he placed a kiss to my forehead.
"Hi.." I said quietly, laying in my bed. I felt.. sad, yet seeing his soft smile made me smile.
"You'll be alright. I'll be by your side till you tell me otherwise." He said.
"You'll have work to do tomorrow." I giggled a little.
"Yeah, taking care of you." He replied.
"You're not wasting your time by watching over me Jinnie." I said with a pout. I knew he had to work, he had studying to do too. His time was almost up here.
"Nope, I talked to Dr. Kwon about it. For the next six weeks or so I'm your body guard, medical body guard." He chuckled. I giggled a little, he took my hand in his and brought it to his lips, softly he placed a kiss on my knuckles.
"Jinnie..." I whined a little.
"Sshh... let me take care of you, Princess." He said, gently rubbing the back of my hand. A simple gesture that was so comforting to me. I scooted over in my bed and smiled at him.
"Then be my cuddle Prince?" I giggled a little. He nodded and climbed into the bed next to me, holding me close to him. We laid on our sides as he held me in his arms. Slowly Jin moved his face close to mine, our warm breaths mingled till he pulled me closer and pressed his soft puffy lips to mine. We embraced each other for a while, our lips danced together in bliss as we enjoyed the moment... nothing else mattered but us. He made me feel cherished, important... not weak or lacking... I truly loved that about him.

(Jin's POV)
Last night was nice, just being there with her. I stayed all night, just holding her. Dr. Kwon made me go home, but asked for me to come back before Lilly's surgery. I hurried home and changed my clothes after showering, then I immediately made my way back to the hospital.
"Dr. Kwon!" I shouted as I saw him with another man who'd not seen before.
"Jin." He greeted. "Doctor Ross, this is Jin. He's a very promising med student. Sadly his internship here is nearly up, but he's certainly the best med student to mentor under me." Dr. Kwon spoke to the man.
"Pleasure, Jin." The man shook my hand and I nodded to him, shaking his hand in return.
"Dr. Ross here is a Physiologist. He heard of some of the patients here and wanted to meet some of them, in particular... our little Princess."
"Yes, I've heard a lot about miss Lilly. I'd love to meet her." Dr. Ross replied.
"Well, she can't have visitors yet right? I mean she's due in for surgery this morning." I said, wondering what this man found so interesting about my Princess.... Our... Lilly.
"Right, Dr. Ross is going to see some other patients while our Princess gets this procedure done. After she's awake and if she's feeling up for it we'll introduce Dr. Ross to her." Dr. Kwon said. I wasn't one to go against his say... so while I didn't like this idea... I kept my mouth shut for the time being.
I was made to wait to see Lilly. I wasn't allowed in for surgery but once she was moved from recovery back to her room where she could be monitored and rest more- there I was allowed to sit beside her, she was still in and out of consciousness. An expected thing, so I sat beside her bed and held her hand with care.Daisy was well trained enough to stay off the bed. She would give my hand a gentle squeeze, letting me know she was aware of my presence. I texted Joon and Jimin to let them know she was recovering, they had been worried about her.
"Jinnie?" Her soft voice woke me from an unexpected nap. I lifted my head from my arm and sat back up in the chair. I smiled at her, when she smiled back I cupped her sweet face in my hands and kissed her plush lips. As usual she tasted pleasant, I got greedy and kissed her a bit more. She smiled and giggled a bit.
"Jinnie." She wined a bit before she giggled again. I peppered her sweet face with kisses.
"What? Let me care for you, Princess. Let me love you." I said softly as I placed a few more kisses along her jawline.
"Y-you.. love me?" She asked, I looked at her beautiful big eyes and smiled. Leaning closer to her precious face, I captured her lips with mine. There in that room, it was just the two of us. Soft kisses, light touches. Nothing too over the top as she was still recovering.
I love her.. I truly felt it in my heart.
