Finally. After all this time... years spent staring at the same ceiling, the same door, the same floors, the same walls that surrounded me. Like being reborn, here I was in my new apartment.
The walls bare but I'll remedy that at some point. I sigh, looking around the place. Namjoon had taken his lunch break to bring me, Daisy, and Jimin over to my new home.
"Where you want this, Princess?" Namjoon asked as he carried in a heavy box of clothes.
"Oh, that one goes in the bedroom. Thank you again, Namjoon!" I said to him as he passed by, heading for the bedroom on the left. I smiled Jimin gently pinched my side.
"Someone's super excited." He chuckled and tickled my side again. I laughed and nodded in response. He pulled me in for a hug and kissed the side of my head. "I'm proud of you." He said softly before pulling away.
"Thanks." Was all I could reply as I blushed. He smiled and booped my nose with his finger before heading over and started unpacking my kitchen stuff.
"Hey, the movers are here with that furniture." Namjoon said as he came out of the bedroom and looked out the window. My apartment was on the third floor, the movers were below. Within a few moments my apartment was buzzed. Jimin rushed to the door panel by the door and pressed the com.
"Come on up!" He said before pressing the button to the doors downstairs. Moments later Namjoon opened the door and moved out of the way as two men carried in a sofa, once they managed to get it through the doorway Jimin directed them on where to put it in the living room. Two other men behind them carried in the love seat, once that was set down all four men left to get the rest.
Soon my living room had its entertainment center, sofa, couch, coffee table, bookcase all set up in the living room. Namjoon had brought the TV over when he brought Jimin and I here. Daisy was happily sitting in her new doggy bed, enjoying her new purple chew bone.
The moving crew left after setting up the washer and dryer and my bedroom set. Which I was glad they put it together, because I would have overworked myself trying to lift the frame, headboard, and foot-board.
Soon everything looked to be in order, just my bedroom needed sorting and unpacking, the Kitchen needed some more unpacking. Namjoon had left before the movers because he had to get back to work. He was taking over for his dad temporarily, after all. Jimin stayed, he took Daisy for a walk while I put the decorative pillows on the sofa and love seat. I hummed while setting up my pill box. The lavender box kept track of the pills I needed to take each day. I was on a daily vitamin, as well as my fibro medication.
As evening set in, I asked Jimin to stay the night because it was strange to be staying alone. Jimin agreed and I set him up with blankets and a pillow on the new sofa. I managed to get my bed made up but I didn't unpack everything yet. I climbed into bed that night, Daisy came in and got up on the bed with me, one of the reasons Jimin made me get the King sized bed- He knew Daisy needed to be by me at times and with the bigger bed, it meant more room. I petted her some, letting everything set it.I was finally living on my own, finally had my own place, finally....
"I grabbed breakfast!" Jimin cheered as he entered, I'd just gotten out of the shower and was dressed in jeans and a basic lavender v neck t-shirt with a cute white Alpaca character on the front. He wore a little red ascot around his neck and I thought it was a really cute character.
"Thanks." I said as I sat down at the breakfast bar on the stools Jin had actually ordered for me.
"So, word from the boyfriend?" Jimin smirked. I smiled.
