"Come on, it's not all that bad..." Tae was trying to reason with me.

"Tae.... Jin hasn't been by.. I've gotten two phones, and five text messages.. and it's been a week. A whole week. Why isn't he here? I need him here. It hurts... it hurts Tae." I whined. My whole body ached, what was more concerning was that I couldn't feel my feet, couldn't wiggle my toes, couldn't move my legs without assistance. The sharp pains had moved from front to side to back. And they keep moving like that. Like every nerve in my midsection was hyped up on something and felt like freaking out every so often.

It was annoying and painful. To make matters worse... Namjoon was the only one who stopped in.

"Hey Princess." He came in, dimples flashing with a pretty bouquet of flowers in hand and a get well card from Jimin.

"Just you?" I pouted.

"Yeah Princess, just me today. Jimin's... he's nervous. He's afraid he'll cry if he sees you like this." Joon was honest, I also knew that Jimin had never seen me like this... hooked up to tubes, wires, air tank.. the whole kit and caboodle.
He was too kind of a person and I loved him too much to want him to get upset over seeing me like this.

"It's ok.. I get it."

"You know he wanted to be here. He's just.. he wants to be strong and he is, but he cares about you so much. You're family to us Lilly, we both get affected... I'm just better at handling it." He grinned. I smiled and nodded at him.

"Thank you Joon." I sighed.. knowing what I wanted to ask him.

"Where's Jin? I thought he was going to be here when I woke up but.. well he wasn't.. and I haven't seen him. He's called but it's always quick calls and short text messages. Is something wrong?" I asked him. I wanted honesty.

"To be honest, I couldn't tell you if I wanted to. Most of it I don't know, what little I do know I promised not to tell. I can tell you what I think though." He offered instead. I nodded and he sat down in the empty seat beside my bed.

"I think this shook him. I think... he is upset he wasn't there with you, I think he's trying hard to fix something he might not be able to fix." He spoke his mind and I appreciated that.

"I'm a lost cause... Joon.. he.. he can't lock himself away and try to cure me." I wanted to cry.. but the tears didn't come, I was too exhausted already. Joon nodded and kissed my forehead.

"Things will work out Lilly. One way or another. You should rest. I'll tell those two knuckle headed friends of yours to head back in. I think I intimidate them." He smirked. I laughed a little as he waved and walked out.

Days went by, I still wasn't well enough to move. Jin had only sent one text.

Jinnie: Working late, love you.

That was all he managed to send though. I simply replied with an 'Ok'. Only I'm not okay... I'm pretty far from it.

"She's not eating." I heard Tae say as someone else entered the room. I didn't look to see who, I was staring at the wall, facing away from the door.

"Let me see it." I knew the voice. Jungkook. "Princess? You need to sit up so you can eat." He said plainly. I stayed still, staring.

"Princess, please? I'll call Jimin.. maybe.. maybe he'll come help you eat, alright?" Tae asked, sounding so defeated. I heard the door closed, he most likely went to try and get a hold of Jimin. Suddenly I was pulled up, my bed moved to an upright position and I glared a little at Jungkook who was suddenly smiling at me.

"Oh good, you're up now." He joked.

"Let me... lay here please." I spoke out, a roughness to my voice as I hasn't had anything to drink. What was the point? If I do dehydrate.. they'll just give me a solution in the IV. Not a big deal.

"I'm afraid I can't do that." He said as he fixed the tray of food in front of me.

"And why's that? Don't have enough sympathy to give me what I need?" I asked in a monotone voice.

"Nope. I can't let you just lay there because you need to eat. And here's the real shocker." He leaned close and smirked. "I actually care about you." He pulled away and began to pull open the apple sauce cup. He took the spoon and scooped some out, holding it to me to eat.

"I'm not an infant, I can feed myself." I glared at him a little as I spoke.

"Yeah, sure you can. But I don't trust you to leave you here and let you eat by yourself." He smirked again as he slowly swished the spoon around. "Now open side for the airplane, Princess." He was grinning with I pouted and glared... he was treating me like a baby.
I gave in though, and let him feed me. I knew if I didn't we'd be sitting here all night and day. Jungkook was persistent, and he was stubborn.

Over the next week it was the same thing every day- Jungkook was here in the morning after getting school work from his first classes. He's feed me breakfast, then hang out and do his work while I did mine. He'd help me if I got stuck. Then he'd go back to school after he fed me lunch to get the work from the last set of classes.
I didn't have to worry so much since I had already contacted my professors about it and sent over verification forms that I was indeed in the hospital. Jungkook would be back before evening and he'd feed me dinner as we did our work. He'd stay with me till I fell asleep and then he'd leave and be back for the same thing the next day.

(Namjoon's POV)

"Those two knuckle heads have been keeping her company." I said as I played with the anatomically correct wooden model on his desk.

"Good." He replied shortly as he was writing things down, looking from his computer to his paper.

"Yeah, that Jungkook kid has been with her all week though." I peered at him over the model in time to catch his brows furrow.

"With the other one, right?" He asked. He might have known he was forming it in a question, but he was because he was worried. Even if he didn't want to admit it.

"Nope." I said popping the P at the end, trying not to smirk as I watching him tighten his grip on the pen in his hand.

"Oh?" He wanted to know more. I sighed, leaning against his desk as I folded my arms over my chest.

"Yeah, He's been taking good care of her. Making sure she eats. Man.. I thought for a minute there I was going to have to beg Jimin to go over and make her eat. But that kid just jumped right in there and told her to open her mouth for him." I smirked at my choice of wording. Jin reached his limit.

"He what?" He asked, anger showing more clearly now.

"Yeah. He uh.. asked her to open her mouth, you know, so he could feed her." I nodded, holding in my smile.

"Oh... y-yeah... she needs to eat. That's um.. nice of him." He mumbled a little and went back to his work.

"Yeah I mean.. it should be you feeding her, but ah... Yeah, you're too busy you know. All this stuff going on. I'm sure she understood when you told her what you were up to and why you've been working and not paying her a visit. Right?" I knew damn well he hadn't told her shit. I knew he wouldn't, he doesn't want to get her hopes up but the truth is that he's been working his ass of with Dr. Kwon who just might have a solution to her body's deterioration.
He's only told me because I'm an annoying asshole when I want to be. Also.. I've been worried about her since I met her. She's too sweet of a girl to let her suffer like this, not being able to do a lot of things young people her age should be doing.

"Don't push it Joon.." Is all he says to me before I semi give up and walk to the door of his office.

"Alright Jin. But... if she ends up caught up in that Kook guy's big doe eyes... well, you will only have yourself to blame." I shut the door before he hurls a book at me. I hear it thud against the door and smirk. "I'll call you later, buddy!" I speak loudly so he hears me.

I really hope he knows what he's risking.
